These guys are professional - they do what they say. I had my MacBook Pro laptop logic board repaired with all my lost data recovered what Apple refused to repair the same machine. Thanks specifically to Danny for his wealth of experience in hardware repair and data recovery. I highly recommend Computer Place.

Probably the worst service I've ever seen. And not only in services related to repairing computers, I mean ever.Took my laptop to repair. Issue: laptop wouldn't go further than the BIOS menu. Diagnosis result by this company: faulty motherboard, needs replacement. Paid for the diagnosis, £35. It took about a week since I've delivered my laptop personally until I could get it back for doing nothing...Went to collect my faulty (not that faulty after all, keep reading) computer and guess what? They've lost one of my RAM memories, installing it in other costumer's laptop. Honest mistake"

I have been using Computer Place for almost 6 years now and have considered them my private computer doctor. I always report and book my laptop to them when small or complicated issue needs repairing or even a simple maintenance. I have not experienced any problem with them. In fact they also give me advice on the phone whenever I get lost with my computer, and only brings it to them when I am not capable of sorting it out myself for basic help. I am meticulous about all my stuff especially my computer but Computer Place have always done an excellent job to my satisfaction.I personally deal with loads of different people everyday as part of my job and somehow it is not to my surprise that there are people who actually wrote a bad review for Computer Place company. I have read all of it and I am saying this because I feel for Computer Place.To Danny and the rest of the staff who have served me and are part of Computer Place workforce, keep providing an excellent professional service as there are hundreds and thousands of us who believe in you all and your capability to provide service in IT world, especially to you Danny. We need more people like you and your company who can serve professionals.To customers and future customers of Computer Place, people's reaction to things depends on their level of understanding and open mindedness. Computer Place is run by professionals with high qualifications. They explain things direct to the point and they don't take money before repair. And this is why I am will always be Computer Place loyal and regular customer. You are highly recommended along with my colleagues and friends.

Sadly, as much as I would like to I cannot recommend this place. The person behind the counter is very personable, but that is not enough to recommend this place.Once you hand your laptop over, you have no clear idea of when you will receive it back. The excuse most likley to be received is that the parts have not arrived, or the wrong parts were sent.I would prefer the owner to clearly state we cannot do a thorough job on this item in the time available.When you go into the store, the gentleman will often tell you to come back later as he is busy... or worse still will close the store without any real notice.Also you can see by the large number of computer parts strewn across the counter that there are countless people still waiting a repair to be returned.I would love to recommend this place, but I have a duty to warn others as this is not a professional outfit. Sorry.

I took my computer to the shop because it couldn't reboot into windows, so I asked to recover just my data and install windows again.The job was done, a windows new installation saved automatically my data in a windows old folder in C.I paid and collected my computer, but when the next day a windows update started, the old data folder was deleted by the system. I went back to the shop literally in tears asking for help (I lost a few bits of previous jobs, my master's degree work and portfolio), the man in the shop became rude and told me that he didn't know what I have done to the laptop and that he has done already what I paid for so he wouldn't look at the computer on Friday afternoon. Then he probably realised that has been horrible to me, and offered to book an appointment. I didn't go back to the shop after this awful experience!I contacted windows customer service and another computer's technician that confirmed that my data are gone without the chance to be recovered.Also, the shop is hard to reach by phone call, you need to text them the laptop issue, and it was not open on Sunday the week before I went there.

I've been using the Computer place for the last 5 years and simply will never let any other Company touch my Computer, EVERY TIME i use the computer place Danny makes me feel valued, and over deliver, i don't understand some of the comments below as my experience has always been pleasant, and i even recommended the company i work for [ i am a Lawyer] to use their service which they have been using to service all the computers in the building.i can recommend Danny and his team highly enough, always a pleasure to work with, constantly outstanding service.

I must say I have been to computer place to fix my laptop and must comment that the staff have been excellent, extremely very helpful and professional. On my visit the issues were all addressed and resolved to my satisfaction the technical support and advice provided was great and showed the staff were knowledgeable ,genuine and transparent.I have recommended them to friends and colleagues who have visited and testified of excellent service also and will recommend them to anyone .I would therefore highly recommend them.

Do not use this company!!!I brought my PC in and specifically asked if I would be charged for them to find out what the problem was. They told me categorically I would not be charged and the engineer would give me a call to tell me how much it would cost etc. While I was there, there was a lady arguing with them about them disposing her laptop without her consensus. I was alarmed hence asking repeatedly if I would be charged for the diagnostic. They called me and said it would cost me around £250 to fix it. I decided against it.I went to pick it up and all of a sudden they demanded £55 from me. I said I was assured it would be free for diagnostic. The lady in the shop said she was only following instructions from the engineer, I called the engineer, he was rude on the phone and said the poster on the shop says with engineer discretion they can charge me £25 for PC or £35 for laptop. I explained what the shopkeeper told me and he said that shopkeeper had been fired. Even if we follow the poster on the wall, it should only be £25. I have absolutely no idea how they quoted £55. They refuse to give my PC back. I asked them to write me a letter to guarantee that my PC would not be disposed while I seek help from Trading Standard. They refused. I had no option but to pay them as i was worried they would sabotage personal data from the PC . This is pure blackmail and a complete SCAM.USE THEM AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

I am completely and utterly disappointed by the unacceptable service provided by shop, just stay away.My laptop display glass cracked and I visited the shop to get it fixed.The technician told me I better get the part from USA and then he would do the work and provided a quote. I told it will take me time to get the part but I promised to get it and return to him for the job.When I obtained the new display I delivered it with my laptop to the shop and soon after I received a call with a new quote and take it or leave it".I asked what has changed and he has nothing else to say other than hiding behind an argument that more than 14 days passed since he made the offer do he is no longer committed to it.Since it was after I paid and obtained the new display and already delivered it to the shop
