Top notch scran!I thoroughly enjoyed the Hangover III burger which I added a beef patty to.The chicken was cooked well and was very crispy in most parts. It did lack seasoning though and relied on the sauces really.The bun was really nice, firm but light.Good quality beef patty which was a bit overcooked for my liking but tasted great.The side of dirty tots went down a treat too, tater tots are always a winner!The service was quick and very friendly staff.It's not the best place for a burger in Liverpool but definitely a solid option.

Great place with good vegan junk food options. We had the Wachos and dirty Tater tots. The tater tots needed more sauce, but other than that they were tasty!Unfortunately the ice cream/Milkshake machine was broken so they had not desserts or similar options which we were looking forward too.Service was slightly slow for a quiet afternoon but okay.

Brilliant burger place. Nice atmosphere. Millie great waitress and made the experience much more enjoyable. Made a big deal out of my friend who had won employee of the month, twice!

Had a great time at Fat Hippo earlier this weekAttended at quite short notice on weekday evening as part larger group (30-40 people). Ryan, Riona and Emily were able to fit us into the upstairs part of the restaurant.Food was consistent and great, from the burgers to sides as well. Staff were really friendly and patient when managing order for such a large group, and did a fantastic service for us, really grateful for them making our evening really great.

It wasn't overly busy, but as a walk in couple, we were seated upstairs where it was quite cold. It took sometime for the staff to close the opened window, even then it seemed cold.We ordered a starter and mains, the starter arrived quite quickly but the mains (burgers) took forever and, when they did, my wife's was cold. They redid it but the toasted buns were still cold.Quite small ice-cream desserts at £6 each were nice but over priced in my view.Overall a little disappointed but they reduced the bill by 20% due to us waiting so long.

LOVELY FOODWas disappointed coming from Honest Burger in Bold and came to this place called FAT HIPPOHonestly, the difference in the food, quality and size portions was far better than the place 20 yards down the road.Highly recommend this place to anyone with her appetite.

I trust good Google reviews.But not very sure on this one.I love my food and not really bothered if it takes a leap year to arrive or if the service poor or if it’s hideously expensive.All I look for is that the food needs to be on point or rather delicious.Unfortunately that wasn’t the case here. Non of the dishes or drinks I ordered was memorable, special or tasty.Only 3 waiters so the timing was some what at a leisured pace.And for what I consumed to what I paid was pretty disappointing as well.The chicken is halal there, may that’s a positive…

Fat Hippo is a really good address in Liverpool. The quality of the food is really great, everything is very tasty.Pros:- huge choice of burgers, including vegetarian ones and dairy free options- waiters are looking for any request- some original choices in the fries and startersCons:- kitchen is a bit slow (~30 minutes of waiting time)- dessert looks good but is not particularly interesting (but doesn't taste bad)

We just walked in on the of chance of getting a table. I think It was one the manager that saw us as she was wearing a blouse not black. She had a face on her and totally blanked us. But a smile or we will be with you in a minute would be polite and welcoming.Anyway a young man took us to our table he was very polite.Maybe the manger should take a leaf of her colleagues book.The food was very good and the atmosphere was good.
