Had salt and chilli beef last night with noodles and chicken balls for the kid. To start with when opened at home I thought there was a bit of a strange smell. Anyway tucked in even though it had already put me off somewhat. Salt and chilli beef was crunchy, when I say crunchy the beef actually disintegrated with each bite. No particular chilli taste. In fact not much of a taste at all just a smell. Chicken balls and noodles ok. Free prawn crackers also tasted stale. Anyway after deciding to pass on most of my dinner I had that feeling all night that it wasn't right. The taste that keeps repeating and that sick feeling. At 11pm it finally happened. Horrendous vomiting. Thanks for an epic Friday night Starry Sky. Won't be back

Very tasty food. Had Kung Po chicken, egg fried rice and hot and sour soup. All dishes were nice and spicy enough.

Ordered food via just eat last night. Half the order was missing and the curry sauce had leaked all over the bag due to containers being on there side and not flat, perhaps from a careless driver or something?? That’s not the issue the problem lies with your delivery driver, he came back with the missing items and the WHOLE order again, which we didn’t ask for btw, but a nice gesture, so thanks for that. However your delivery driver gave my partner a hell of a time, calling him a liar, and raising his voice and swearing in my close at almost midnight, an absolute stinking attitude and horrendous customer service skills and all from a grown man too.We always order from here but see after last night I think we will just save ourselves the hassle and just not bother in future, there are far more better Chinese takeaways around Ayr and prestwick that we can order from and will not receive such disgusting behaviour from someone that obviously has some kind of attitude issue! Picture attached for his information that my partner indeed DID NOT lie and that is how he delivered it containers on there sides and curry sauce all over the items and pooling at the bottom of the bag.

the second and last time we will order from Starry Sky! First was average but this one was inedible.... the chicken skewer satay sticks could have been used as shoe soles. No flavour of satay what so ever. the prawns were like rubber and tasteless the only decent part of the meal was the fresh vegetables in it ... happy to pay for good food.. annoyed we paid for a meal and then had to cook! The fish n chippy will be doing well from now on...

Food is one of the best in Ayr. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is due to the fact they don't knock the door when being delivered. Had people sitting in the living room (right next to the door). Never phoned the number given with delivery to make sure we get the food that was pre paid for. The delivery driver just left it sitting for anyone walking by to pick up. This hasn't just happened one, that's the second time now.
