Handsling Bikes

My new Handsling A1R0evo Shimano Ultegra Di2 has been on it’s first holiday ! Unbelievably pleased with the whole buying experience from the guys at Handsling. From my first engagement with Pete, through the meticulous build progression and personal fitting with Liam and some much appreciated after sales practical assistance from Nev and the team to get my new chariot safely packed up for my travels; at every juncture the service has been just perfect. The bike handles like a dream and the aero gains that blessed me with a few PRs are totally down to the bike rather than my holiday diet! Heads turn and bike envy is alive and kicking when you have a Handsling.

I was in need of a new bike to replace my trusty but aging Scott Addict, but nothing out there on the market really rocked my boat, even the new Addict (price and colour were a factor as well).Several months ago, by chance I saw a Handsling A1R0evo at my work in the bike room. It was in raw Carbon black and looked amazing. Having never seen or heard of this bike before I did the usual Googling and a bit of research, I very much liked what I saw.Roll on another few weeks and several chats with Simon, plus a visit to their workshop I had made up my mind.Simon was very patient in answering all my MANY questions plus his team were very welcoming and helpful during my visit to their workshop, even though I could see that they were really busy.I placed my order whilst there, specking my new bike out to exactly what I wanted.Roll on again a few more weeks and I am now the proud owner of an A1R0evo.It has already been taken to Mont Ventoux literally only after about one week of ownership. It performed so well, great on the climbs and even better on the many descents. I am a quite a nervous descender having taken a few tumbles in my time, but this bike gave me so much confidence. It was stable, surefooted, comfy and fast. I had a big smile on my face, as for once I could enjoy every descent. I would go as far to say that the bike descends better than my old Addict, obviously bearing in mind that the A1R0evo has Disc brakes and tubeless tyres which helps.Also the bike is unique which I like as it is the focus of much attention when out on the club runs.Absolutely love it !! Would 100% recommend Handsling if you are looking for a new bike.Updated 12.09.2022Well, what do you know, I ended up buying another Handsling bike!! This time their CEXevo in a lovely Candy Red. I wanted to have the option of two very different bikes, so I opted for the CEXevo but built up as a road bike.The bike is yet again amazing, spec'ed 100% to my choices. It fits me perfectly and is a dream to ride. It is also a very comfy frame. It is a different ride to my A1ROevo, but equally as good in its own way. Also being a CEX frame I have the option to add larger tyres If I fancy a bit of gravel riding !. As with the A1ROevo, it is already getting admiring glances and attention.Again the guys at Handsling answered all my questions and were a pleasure to deal with.The only issue now is what bike to take out to club rides and events !!Handsling Bikes = 100% recommended.

I am delighted with my bike! It is absolutely stunning; super fast yet very comfortable, a joy to ride. Handsling provided a first class service throughout, over and above any experience I have had buying a bike before, with brilliant attention to detail in all aspects of the build and fantastic customer service. Just wow ....!I cannot recommend this company or their bikes highly enough.From initial contact, the Handsling team, who clearly love what they do, walked and talked me through everything, sizing, setup and equipment selection. They are able to explain, in detail when necessary, every nuance associated with personal preferrences, and of course budget.When faced with uncertainty over which frame colour to pick, Pete Christiensen suggested I visit to see their current frame stock to help me decide. I was also shown the bike build area while there. I have been associated with manufacturing, engineering and assy for over 30yrs. I quickly recognised the professional layout, cleanliness and tool care etc that supports a quality build. They know what they are doing ....!I chose to pick the completed bike up and was treated to a very warm welcome. Marc talked me through the bike and its features and was open to any questions I had. Upon leaving I was reminded that they are always availble should I need any help or assistance in the future. I am so pleased with my purchase.

What can I say, from first contact to picking up my new bike, Simon, Liam and the crew were brilliant, nothing was to much trouble. As for the bike, what a dream and probably the best aero bike I’ve ridden. Made to my specs and not some over priced off the shelf bike that would cost £3000 + more.Get involved with this company they are top notch

Great service from the Handsling Team - the support from Pete and Mark was exceptional. No questions unanswered, to the point that I am now riding in a much more comfortable position. I am 6ft 7, approx. 115kg so was very unsure on carbon frames and if I would be fine. Discussed it, sent through my measurements, discussed further, talked about what I wanted to achieve in terms of my riding posture etc. I bought the Neon Green AR10evo and honestly, what a bike!! It came setup to my requirements based on our conversations and what a beautiful looking bike, very responsive, very comfortable. Looks bloody amazing, to the point people have genuinely started asking me about the bike randomly.I would give more stars if possible and would tell anyone, if you're thinking about it, get it done!Also, 2 weeks turnaround - thats enough haha! Plus, you can take advantage of the Cycle to Work Scheme and get some nice savings in there!

Treated really well right through the process from initial consultation to discussion of component options and checking sizing for final build. Frames are excellent well thought out design incorporating all the latest developments in integration and aero. Completely custom build at excellent value.

I purchased a CXEVO and I am very impressed. Not only is the bike awesome, but the customer service through the entire process is better than any other bike company I have dealt with. As my son continues to grow in track and CX, we will definitely be looking to move him onto Handslings!

I bought a CEXEvo back in February. The purchase process was fantastic - friendly, helpful and responsive. Being fairly local, I popped in to test a couple of the bikes, look at the colour options and have a good chat about what I wanted - a do-it-all cyclocross/gravel/bike pack/occasional road bike.I had been for a road bike fit at Precise Performance only a few months before, so passed on the details to ensure correct sizing and setup (reassuringly, both companies speak very highly of each other). It was great to be able to effectively spec a custom bike to suit my needs, and have a very wide selection of great colours to choose from.I have now had the bike for about 5 months and love it to bits. The sizing and setup was perfect - I haven’t changed anything. I started riding it on the road, have done some summer cyclocross and some gravel rides, including the full 100 miles of the South Downs Way in less than 9 hours riding. The bike has been fantastic - it is a cracking ride and more comfortable than I could hope.I have asked a couple of post sale questions, and they have always been responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend Handsling for both their great bikes and their sales/customer service.

I am absolutely delighted with my Handsling A1R0evo.From my initial visit and discussion with Miles, to Pete who is extremely knowledgeable and provided me with great advice, guidance and worked with my bike fitter to ensure my custom build worked for me.I am loving riding my bike again.
