JBT Glass

Myself and five others had a private session on 25th March some of us had previously been to larger classes but this time we went to their studio and brought two others with us. We all had the most wonderful time. Trudy and Gemma were so helpful, especially with me as I don’t have an artistic bone in my body! It was a two hour session and we were shown how to make the design we wanted. Nothing was too much. They also provided tea and coffee and biscuits! Being at the studio we were able to see a big range of their work and it is all beautiful and helped inspire our designs. If you are looking for a gift (we gave the session as Christmas gifts) for someone or if you just fancy having a go I can’t recommend it enough. We travelled from Wigan to the Studio in Leeds and we made a day of it! If you’re looking for an event for a get together it would be perfect. It was very relaxing. Thank you JBT so much for facilitating a wonderful day of memories x

We spent a brilliant morning at the fused glass workshop this morning. Trudy and Gemma are such lovely people and really informative and helpful. You never feel like someone else is telling you what to do but they are always on hand if you have a query or want some help.We made three things each which we thought was amazing value.I went with my adult daughter and we honestly both had such a wonderful time. I can't wait to collect our items once they have been kilned.Trudy says they also run Christmas workshops but I hope we go back long before Christmas. It was so relaxing I'd go every week in if I could!!Thank you Trudy and Gemma for a great experience

Fused Glass Workshop - 25.06.22I attended this workshop today and had an amazing time.Trudy and Gemma were very welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about their craft. I've learnt lots and have a whole new appreciation and understanding of how much work goes into the beautiful works of art they create.I've never worked with glass before so was a little apprehensive, but I didn't need to be as Trudy explained everything clearly and showed me what to do. I was then given free rein to get creative and had so much fun making a wall hanger and 2 tealight holders!The studio is a lovely, light airy and relaxing place to work in and I loved using all the different materials available to create my designs!Everything is provided to help you with your project, such as tools, safety equipment, beautiful murrini glass flowers, bees, ladybirds, etc (all made by Trudy and Gemma), as well as help/guidance if you need it.The workshop is fantastic value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and everyone and will definitely be returning to do another one!Thank you both for such a brilliant day, I loved every minute!!

What a wonderful experience today at Trudy and Gemma's glass workshop!We were made to feel so welcome the minute we walked through the door. It was a surprise treat for our mum's birthday and Trudy put birthday banners up and provided us with cupcakes which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience much more special for our mum.We've never created anything using glass before but Trudy explained everything so well and was always on hand to guide and help us to produce some beautiful pieces of art! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there we are looking forward to seeing our creations finished once kilned.Highly recommend to anyone whether you are a 'crafty' person or not....you'll definitely enjoy the experience!
