Awesome place to learn to kayak. Coaches are extremely patient and friendly, and great for the whole family

Possibly one of the best evenings I’ve experienced. The coaches were so helpful, knowledgable and had great humour. I was really scared trying a sit in kayak but they were so patient. I really loved the whole time out kayaking in the beautiful docks - huge smile on my face the whole time and sore legs afterwards ☺️ can’t wait to try paddle boarding next. Thanks FOA.

My son first had an introduction and training at his school swimming pool with FOACCL about 3 years ago. He loved it and pretty soon all my family got involved down at the FOACCL base in Collingwood Dock with the general paddling on Saturdays. The family membership fees are very affordable and great value. Now nearly four years later I have my eldest 16yr old son, his 13yr old sister and my youngest 10 yr old son all doing canoe polo development days and training for the youth GB development team. My wife is a competent paddler and attends 2-3 times a week also. They love it as the training is well structured, they learn so much from the excellent coaches and also there is a great 'family' feel to all the volunteers, people, players, paddlers and familes who get involved in the club. Highly rate this club on lots of levels!

They're a fantastic club with great kit and facilities. The coaches are brilliant and all have a braid range of knowledge and expertise. The club is great for beginners or higher and at different ages

Great place to learn to kayak. £5 taster session, £20 membership gives you full access to all the gear so no need to worry about any expensive outlay. Best thing my kids have done plus what a way to see Liverpool historic docks

Had the best taster sessions. Everyone is super friendly and encouraging, and the views of the dock are breathtaking. Really reccomend

Love this place! My son Ziko Raoudi loves this place! He’s made no friends in the 7 years he’s been there, and got hit by a boat but he loves it! Definitely recommend! In the photo I’m in the one in the back.
