All food is home cooked and tastes delicious. Great choice of meat and fish dishes, limited choice of veggie dishes. Bedrooms are well appointed with comfortable decor. Very obvious most of the clientele are returners both from near and far - always a good sign.

Recently moved to the area and thought we'd try the Marchbank for dinner. Had a really lovely evening. Expertly cooked and presented local food, great ambience and staff. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back.

Just returned from a wonderful meal at this hotel. First time but certainly will not be the last. The food was excellent, with the guinea fowl and salmon very tasty. Service was good, not rushed to get through your meal. A great experience.

I was at this venue for a wedding video shoot. So i can only comment on front of house.The driveway is akward and requires attention.The lounge is very small, and difficult to manoeuvre between chairs.The bar oppersite the lounge is about the same size, but is well stocked and extremely homely.Wildlife is in abundance at this venue. March Bank is clean with a charm of its own.The best aspect is the staff, they really go the whole hog to look after their guests.The food looked very good, and well above parr.

Always a fantastic welcome from Richard and his team. Excellent service and very tasty dinner and breakfast every time I have stayed. Good value for money, looking fwd to going back again.
