My husband and I spent two spectacular days sightseeing with Becky in May 2023, and are so glad we did. Although we had a rental car, we decided to hire a tour guide after reading about how challenging it was to drive in Cornwall on its very narrow roads. It was a great decision! Becky worked with us to design a personalized tour of western Cornwall that included all of the major sights and some local gems reflecting her knowledge and passion for Cornish history and natural beauty. Throughout the day, she entertained us with stories of the past and present, and was the perfect combination of professional and personable. She went above and beyond in accommodating our needs and preferences, and gave us great recommendations for walks, activities and dining. Thanks to Becky, we were able to see so much more of Cornwall, and through the eyes and heart of a local. It was a fabulous experience!

During my trip to Cornwall, England, I worked with Becky Frost at Penelewey Tours to create agendas for three separate day trips. Two of these days were to sites across Cornwall (Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow, Carn Galver, Botallack, Land's End, Minack Theatre, Merry Maidens, and St. Michael's Mount).The real highlight of the trip, though, was a day tailored to visiting sites related to my family's history. Becky took a list of recommendations from a genealogist's report and wove them together into an incredibly memorable day trip. We made stops at four different village churches where my ancestors were baptized, married, and buried. We walked along the beach near where their 1800s cottages once stood, and even hiked to the ruins of a mine where they worked.I highly recommend touring with Becky. She's a delight, very knowledgeable about local culture and history, and a skilled driver able to expertly navigate Cornwall's intimidating single lane roads nearly swallowed up by the hedgerows. Trusting my travel experiences with Becky eliminated the stress and allowed me to focus on enjoying the experience.

Becky organised a great day of sight seeing for us. It was lovely visiting so many different places in one day without doing the driving ourselves. The scenery was stunning and made even better with cream tea. Becky allowed us to be flexible with the walking distance and pace. She is very knowledgeable, a real local down to earth Cornish lass. Our dogs were looked after too, Fern the VW is very comfortable. Definitely recommend a tour!

I had a fantastic tour with Becky. Falmouth, along the coast, stopping at Pandorra Inn, King Harry Ferry, Roseland, St Mawes and the Lighthouse. It was totally individual and I learned and saw so much of this landscape of beautiful Cornwall. Next time I will come back to you to discover the South West coast! :-)

My husband and I the most wonderful day trip, touring the spectacular Southwest Coast Trail of Cornwall, thanks to Becky of Penelewey Tours. Because Becky is a native of the area, she was able to bring us to all the places we were interested in, and to add in a number of great additional stops we would never have known about otherwise. Becky was terrific. She was incredibly responsive, made suggestions based on our interests, and was flexible. She planned out the details and had back up plans depending on weather and our mood. She pre-drove the route to scout out where she could pick us up in our tiny village. Above all, her relaxed personality and deep knowledge of the area makes her a fantastic tour guide. She is an easy person to spend the day with and I would happily rebook with her and highly recommend her to anyone considering Cornwall. If we had more time there, we would have gladly hired her for additional days.

We had a fantastic day with Becky. We designed our own tour as we had certain stops we wanted to see and she was very helpful in designing the perfect itinerary. We needed to bring along the dog and he was made more than welcome. Becky had the crate in the van for him, plus water. She told us lots of stories about the sites, the area, and Cornwall in general. It was the best way to see a variety of sites and she knew the best (and most scenic) routes to take. Don't miss the crab sandwich at Lamorna Cove, delicious!
