Really nice food, called in on the Tuesday after bank holiday, some items not available, only to be expected, but Really enjoyed it, we came back two days later and everything was available. The staff were very good, Abbie I think, quite but very friendly. Really enjoyed it. The hurley pie's are definitely worth a try.

Nice pub with good food. Maybe it is average for the area or costs these days but I thought it was slightly on the expensive side of things.

Lovely food, decent prices, saturday night very noisy, so not great if you want a quiet conversation. But other than that, I can't fault it, Hubby liked the beer selection.Sticky toffee pudding was yummy.

Friendly staff were very accommodating and sorted us a table inside at the last minute, despite them being fully booked for the evening. Food was excellent, home made and fresh. Service matched the overall excellent experience. So pleased as we’re local and will definitely be going back soon!

Absolutely my kind of public house! Enjoyed a couple of meals with my partner, of which I will add he thoroughly enjoyed his Hurley homemade pie!!Looking forward to pop down on an evening weekend to enjoy the live bands and atmosphere! A real local pub who more than welcome the wider community.Keep it up team, you're doing brilliant x

Been going thru the menu these past 4 days while staying at a local campsite. The Indian food is great & so are the pies. A massive beer garden at the rear and rustic features inside. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Hurley has been home base for my holiday and The Rising Sun has been awesome. Everyone has provided great service and the food is delicious. If you want something with a bit of spice, try the Chili Chicken or it's vegetarian counterpart. Delicious!

We popped into this pub as staying nearby, and sat in the lovely outdoor area as the weather was good. There seemed a good choice on the menu, but we opted for the weds curry night special. The food exceeded expectations, it was very tasty and well presented, as well as being good value for money.

Cosy small country pub with a great outside section too. Food was excellent, some great deals on offer for food+drinks too. Always good to see an establishment supporting local produce too!

Such a great pub to visit.The staff were all very helpful and welcoming.The locals were friendly and up for a natter.We popped in a couple of times while on our holiday. We managed to make it to bingo evening, which was a good laugh.They had a nice choice of beer on tap, and my husband loved his curry!
