Woodland Chase Glamping

We stayed in Saddler's Cabin and it was such a lovely weekend! The cabin is stunning and beautifully built, and there is so much thought put into it, you can see it from the moment you arrive :) Every little detail has been thought of to ensure we were comfortable during our stay, from the welcome Prosecco and basket from the Running Fox (we can't wait to go and visit them in Felton), to the lovely Christmas decorations which made us feel so festive. We felt so relaxed and at home" from the moment we arrived.The cabin is the perfect private setting to switch off

We stayed in Saddlers Cabin and it was stunning, absolutely recommend!

Stayed in Crofters Cabin (dog friendly) end of May 2021. Cabin is beautiful. 3 other lodges on site but spaced far apart you feel you're the only ones! Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, excellent shower. Lovely little touches (welcome pack, toiletries, dog treats). Logs are supplied for one use of hot tub/log burner and more can be purchased on site. Location is fantastic for exploring surrounding Northumberland. Small village with great pub and amazing bakery about 5 minute drive away (approx 30 minute walk). Excellent communication from owner Jill, she helped out sorting decorations and a cake for my husband's birthday which he loved. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic.Andrea, Ozzie and I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend away in rustic cabin which is beautifully presented and has pretty much everything you need. Special touches and treats from the hosts added to the experience.Twenty minutes away from the gorgeous Northumberland beaches and castles, and with Alnwick Castle and Gardens closer by, there's also plenty to do if you so wish.Didn't want to leave, and I'm not sure when, but we will be back.

What an amazing stay at the treehouse! The attention to detail is impeccable, the faux flowers on beams, fairy lights, s'mores and welcome hamper, amongst many other special touches. The views are stunning at any time of day or night, but especially from the hot tub at sunset with a bottle of Prosecco! The treehouse was warm, inviting and the interiors are beautifully finished. There were lovely reed diffusers in both the living room and bedroom which smelt divine. One of our favourite touches were the binoculars and bird book which were put to good use watching all the wildlife.This was the perfect place to pop the question, and having told Jill my plans first, she went the extra mile and made it so romantic with rose petals and candles for our arrival.We could not recommend Woodland Chase enough and it will hold a special place in our hearts forever! We booked a 3 night stay in the treehouse for our 25th wedding anniversary & had the most wonderful experience. The site was easy to find using the SatNav but was just as easy using road signs. It does state in the business name that it’s “luxury” glamping & it most definitely was! It was a magical experience parking the car at the “Treehouse” wooden sign pointing to a wood chip path through stunning gardens full of greenery. The sight of the treehouse alone, once we turned the corner, was stunning. The stairs are a little steep but it’s a treehouse so we expected that but, once we climbed them & stepped onto the decked area where there were wooden loungers, a wooden table with chairs & the hot tub were, we could then see the breathtaking views! On entering the treehouse, inside was just as magical. The interior design is a feast for the eyes, the finishing touches have clearly been well thought out & the quality of the furniture & furnishings is superb. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit & bbq (maybe another time) but the wood hot tub that’s heated by a wood burning stove was an absolute delight! It was also refreshing to not have a TV & be able to take advantage of playing the games that are available (Scrabble, Dominoes, Jenga, Cards, Pub Quiz etc). The log burning fire made the treehouse very cosy so we didn’t use the underfloor heating available. The kitchen had everything we needed & more including, jars of local loose tea. The bedroom is gorgeous with an extremely comfortable bed & sumptuous bedding but, the “jewel in the crown” was the rooftop window, through which we saw the stars through the tree canopy at night - beyond magical! The bathroom was surprisingly spacious with a double shower & 2 shower heads. The site itself is very quiet, clean, well maintained & the gardens are stunning. It made our special anniversary even more special & we came away with some memories that will last a lifetime. We will be back for definite & would love to try one of the cabins (there are 2 - Crofters Cabin & Saddlers Cabin) & a new “Fieldhouse & Spa” that was almost completed while we were there. A true hidden gem!

The treehouse is amazing. It has absolutely everything you could want, in a beautiful setting. The team are very helpful and right on hand if you need anything. Brilliant set up. Recommend!
