Bruern Farms Shop and Cafe

Pleasant welcome from staff. Shop and cafe looked inviting and well presented ordered breakfast at exactly 1159 and told could not have it- as breakfast stopped at 1200. Found this somewhat frustrating...nearly walked...but decided to have bacon and cheese toasties- which were great. Would give it a second chance.

Small but perfectly formed. Worth a visit for a coffee and a bite to eat. Bottled Bruern Ale sold here which is also excellent.

Loved visiting the sunflower field, you can pick a few for £2 a stem and some of that goes to the two charities that they support. You can bring a picnic as well and sit amongst the sunflowers and it's free to visit - look for the parking signs. The farm shop is very good too and plenty of seating if you want to stop for a drink etc.

Visited for the first time yesterday for breakfast. The cafe is lovely and the food is amazing and great value. Lovely coffees, and beautiful views sat outside overlooking the fields. Staff were so friendly, we'll definitely be coming back!

We travelled one hour to visit here on the strength of the reviews. We didn’t really feel that the tiny ‘farm shop’ merited the name, very limited stock, seemed to be mostly familiar brands, nothing novel and it seemed to just be an extension of the cafe, where you had to pay for your ‘farm shop’ purchases. As for the cafe itself, our reception at the counter was less than warm and welcoming, the two young people working there scarcely looked us in the eye. We ordered chicken and pulled pork sandwiches, and sausages which were tasty enough, but nothing outstanding. There are definitely more accomplished sandwich artistes out there. The chips however were delicious and we enjoyed a lovely view from the cafe. Finally, we were absolutely plagued by wasps and flies during our meal, due to the doors which were left wide open. If I had to judge based on the strength of the cafe and ‘farm shop’ alone then I would say that it was not worth our travel time going here. However we did enjoy the sunflower field for the unique photo opportunity that it provided. It’s worth stopping here if you are in the area or passing by, but don’t bother if it would involve going out of your way.

Had breakfast here last week and it was great. The sausages are delicious!The place is lovely and the staff are very friendly. My friend had an issue with her order (granola) and told the staff who were very apologetic. Despite not asking for a refund the lady bought a refund to our table which was spent in the farm shop anyway.

Wonderful cafe & farm shop. We love the well-made coffees, croissants, friendly team, atmosphere, attention to details & farm shop selection.Lovely outdoor area & occasional farmers market!
