Joe has overhauled three roofs for us (so far, and amongst other general building works), including the complete renovation of a large and fiddly roof on our listed home. Joe and his team always do a beautiful job, and it is this meticulous attention to detail and sympathetic approach to old buildings that particularly sets JS Hannam apart. It’s always a pleasure to have Joe and his team on site - I actually missed them when they finished the main roof! However, no review would be complete without mention of the lovely Rebecca who keeps them all organised :)

Joe and his team ably replaced three large Velux windows (and in so doing fixed a leak) in our second floor flat, which has an old slate roof, working from the inside to save on scaffolding costs. Three flights of stairs to get up here too - none of which was a problem for them.Great communication via Rebecca in the office. Friendly guys who do excellent work and clean up after themselves too. Highly recommended!

I have been very impressed with the prompt and efficient service from JS Hannam following the recent storm damage to my roof. They really went the extra mile in getting the repair carried out at a very busy time. Rebecca (admin) was helpful and pleasant throughout the process. My roof was repaired on Sunday by two polite and cheerful young men who I'm sure had had little time off since the storm. Excellent service all round.

Last year when we moved to Ilminster we needed a tile replacement.I was quoted a call out charge of £250 from another company.Jo replaced the tile for less that a quarter of that price!Last week in the storm we lost a ridge tile.Within a couple of days the guys were here and replaced it.Great service.They even helped me lift a fence panel back in place.It’s good to see there is still some good people in the world.

I contacted J S Hannam Ltd. after suffering some roof storm damage and despite being very busy, Joe and his team came out within a few days to carry out necessary ridge tile repairs for me. They are fast, efficient and tidy, with the work being finished to a very high standard. Highly recommended.

A great company and easy to deal with. Unfortunately in 2023, we purchased a bungalow with very special needs. From the outset, Rebecca, Chris, Drew and Joe were a professional team, efficient and always polite. We were kept informed along the way as our original roof was in a bad way and needed far more work than first thought ie (a very bad bodge gone very bad").
