Julia was a beacon of light during my 3rd pregnancy. I suffered severe PGP and saw Julia regularly from 17 weeks which was crucial in my pain management. Her experience and expertise has enabled her to develop massage techniques are like no other. Julia is gentle but very effective and managed to get out knots which no one else has even come close to without any harsh or painful techniques. The wide bed means you don’t feel like you are about to roll off and all the pillows anyones heart can desire (especially the bbhugme) means you are the most comfortable you will ever be, really allowing you to relax and have a lovely peaceful massage. I always felt silly calling Julia my massage therapist because she is so much more than this. She is kind, caring, compassionate and professional, ensuring you will always feel at ease and safe. It was lovely having someone who really understood everything that was going on with my body to talk to and truly empathise with trials of pregnancy and motherhood. I am looking forward to my first postnatal massage in the new treatment room. I highly recommend booking in for yourself.

I went to Julia when I was about 7 months pregnant, my body was feeling achy and uncomfortable, I was suffering with restless legs and my sleep was disruptive. Julia took all this in consideration for my massage and when picking my oils, it was amazing and after my first visit I went back twice, once a month before having my little boy in March.I found great comfort in knowing Julia was an ex midwife, she was able to offer support and guidance when it came to being advise to have an induction.

Julia is amazing, her hands are magic! I’ve undertaken baby massage classes with Julia & my 6 week old. They were incredible and have taught me life-long massage tips to aid babies sleep, digestion and relaxation - he’s now 5 months old and we do the same massage routines every night, he loves it!I have also had a postnatal massage - heaven, left feeling like a new woman, it was like Julia realigned my whole body (would recommended to ANYONE)!Since I have been having c-section scar tissue massage with Julia and after just 2 sessions the difference is incredible. She’s worked hard on loosening & softening my scar, incorporating my whole body. She is just fantastic - get yourself booked in!

I've recently had my third pregnancy massage with Julia and I'll be coming back for more. I've noticed such a difference between the extent of my aches and pains between this pregnancy and my first, and I'm sure part of that is down to Julia's skilled massages. As Julia is a former midwife I have confidence in her thorough understanding of the pregnant body and she clearly has excellent massage skills as I've noticed her adapting her techniques to respond to different areas of tension she must be picking up on in my body. I definitely recommend her massages.

I had a pregnancy massage yesterday with Julia and it was absolutely amazing. She put me at ease straight away, is so knowledgeable about all things pre and post-partum and I felt really relaxed even before the massage!
