Louise Davidson - The Tidy Lark - is like a visiting beautiful lark breathing energy and clarity into your life’s muddles. My daughter, Jojo, found her on the internet from her home in America and wanting to help me with the huge job of of sorting out all my worldly goods from my flat which I was now selling to enable me to emigrate to America, she asked Louise to come and help me and give me guidance just how to approach this mammoth task. She did all this and more and has become a friend with whom I never want to lose touch. She is amazing at making the job of decision making about whether you wish to keep items or dispose of them incredibly easy without any pressure. This is something that I’m useless at if left to my own devices. She has or will find amazing charity contacts who collect and utilise items to the maximum benefit both here and abroad . She has organised and packed beautifully my clothes ready for shipping making sure I’m happy with the final choices and de-cluttering my mind in the process. During the course of all this I had an accident where I found myself in hospital and incapacitated for six weeks and Louise was there to sort out appropriate clothing etc to be brought into the hospital! In short, SHE’S A STAR ⭐️⭐️⭐️ and I’d love to take her to America with me❤️.Louise makes maximum use of the time she is hired for and her charges are reasonable and worth every penny. She sees the need before you do and forward plans for you if necessary. I’m not sure where to start with talking about my journey with the Tidy Lark! It has allowed me to transform our home in to a space that I love rather than a space that screams stress!I had no idea how much we had hoarded as a family and Louise was fantastic at helping us decide what we wanted and needed rather keeping things for the sake of it.The journey was not without emotion, good and bad, but it has allowed me to see through the forest of chores and envisage a more streamlined household plan. This is important to me working full time and having two children.Louise was always patient, supportive and kept us on track even when we were in danger of veering off the track.We will always be grateful for her help and skills that have ultimately given us the living environment we needed as a family.

From the moment I contacted Louise I knew I had found the perfect person to help me through a huge declutter to take back control of the overwhelming mess and disorganisation which we were really struggling with in our family home.I am still in awe of Louise’s ability to understand exactly what we needed to do to have the greatest impact within five sessions and I loved how compassionate, as well as funny, personable and approachable, she is.We tackled the biggest problem areas….master bedroom piled high with clothes/bedding/toiletries, dressing room (basically what had become a ‘dumping ground’), a living room (that was overrun with inherited clutter after three recent bereavements) and a massively disorganised kitchen (with things literally falling out of cupboards and drawers). They are now completely different spaces and I’ve been able to maintain my new ‘tidying habits’ with ease and enjoyment. And, more importantly, a real sense of pride.I was ashamed of the state we had let everything get into but Louise was always kind, understanding and non-judgemental and the difference after each of her visits was enormous.I won’t ever be able to thank her enough for the help and support she has given to me and the difference it has made to our family life and the enjoyment we now have of our home. We have space and light and organisation and I am so grateful.We will be booking more sessions with our lovely Tidy Lark to help clear my father’s home since he passed away. I can’t think of anyone I would trust more to be alongside me!Thank you, Louise, from the four of us. We are so happy to have met you and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending you to anyone who might be in need of some decluttering and organising xx

I am so grateful to The Tidy Lark for all her help and advice. I recently approached Louise as my parents are getting older and their home has become too much for them to cope with on their own. It is heartbreaking to see them living in such chaos when they used to have such a lovely home, and although help from family is offered and well intentioned, it often has the opposite effect.Louise was very sympathetic to this and offered to speak with my mother at no cost, and with no benefit to herself as my parents live in Leicestershire.Since then my parents have found the motivation to start the process of getting their home back and also thanks to Louise’s efforts have scheduled the first session with a KonMari consultant which was kindly arranged by Louise herself.I am so very grateful for all her help and now look forward to the time when there will be enough room for my own family, and their grandchildren to come and stay.
