Mr. Carl is a wonderful teacher. He is lively, interested, flexible and speaks a very understandable English. He is a good listener and asks questions thereto. So we had intensive discussions about various topics like sustainability, economic, technology, politics, etc. He has a wide knowledge about many different topics. We had an intensive great time, 14 hours in 10 days and so I could improve my English in a short time. I have learned to discuss about prepared and unprepared topics. Thank you Carl for your engagement and all your hints to my pronunciation, my grammatical and vocabulary errors and for literature. I looked forward to every lesson. My name is Ivan, and I am currently 22 years old. I work as a Postgraduate Research Associate at the Yale School of Management. For over seven years, I have been taking classes with Carl, and during this remarkable journey, my English proficiency has evolved from barely intermediate to proficient. I had the privilege of having the best English teacher ever. I am incredibly proud to have met him. He is not only an experienced educator, but also incredibly funny. His teaching goes beyond just English; he imparts valuable life lessons. FOR THAT REASON, I consider him the best teacher in the world. I also hope that someday he learns to do Halasana, because he's capable of achieving anything he sets his mind to!
