We are absolutely delighted to have found Harry as a piano teacher for our 9-year old daughter and recommend him wholeheartedly! He has a fantastic passion for what he does and an incredible flair for understanding a child's level and ability to absorb. The progress that our daughter has made in only a few months is unparalleled to other teachers we have had in the past. He has really helped her tap into her true potential - she now practices every day out of sheer passion and joy.

We feel so privileged to have Harry as our piano teacher. He is SO inspirational and patient and shares a wealth of musical knowledge during the lessons. He suggests new pieces that genuinely motivate us to learn and pays great attention to the small musical details that make the important jump from simply playing a piece to actually performing it. Playing on Harry's beautiful Steinway Grand piano is an added excitement to each lesson! Highly recommended and very grateful to have Harry teach us.

Rachel has been teaching our daughter music theory online for last few months. It has really improved her confidence and understanding, which has helped her in her school music lessons, her instrument playing and also composition.

Harry is a very knowledgeable, energetic and fun teacher. Both of our kids (age 11 and 9) liked him straight away and really enjoy the way he teaches. Harry is very patient and caring to his pupils, he is amazing with kids and creates kind and inspiring environment. It’s funny to see how our son while practicing is trying to imitate Harry’s style of playing (moving fingers over the keys with grace, his posture and etc.)Harry inspires children to love music, he goes beyond classes and organizers informal concerts for his pupils. I think it is a great opportunity for kids to build up confidence and not afraid public performances. We recently attended Harry’s piano and cello concert where he performed with his amazing wife. It was a great chance for children to see their teacher performing. And they both said: “We want to play like Harry!”We are very lucky to have met such an amazing and gifted teacher.

From the first day Harry taught my children, I knew we had found the perfect teacher. His passion for his art transcends in each lesson and is simply infectious. Through him, my daughter’s love for the piano has grown. She gets ‘lost’ in her pieces, just practicing because of Harry’s infectious passion. My son is just about to do his grade one and when I think about how much they have both progressed, it is simply heartwarming. The children not only adore him but he has become more like a family member. They look forward to his lessons and cheekily try to extend their lessons with him. He is dedicated, professional and thorough. He goes the extra mile.We simply love Harry and are very thankful to him.

I have been a pupil of Piano and Strings for the past 3 years and have been studying piano, music theory and aural with Harry Nowakowski-Fox. I have also worked with Ana Manastireanuas an accompanist for my Grade 5 Oboe examination.Piano and Strings has ensured that I’m always properly prepared for my exams and provides a high level of support both musically and academically. I would highly recommend them as an organisation to provide musical tutors within central London.

My 5 year old son has piano classes with Harry who is extremely talented and knowledgeable teacher. The lessons are not only enjoyable and engaging but also have adequate length, content and pace to my son's age. I started taking piano lessons as an adult learner with Harry almost exactly a year ago, after a 12 year total break from playing. I had many concerns returning to lessons after such a long time, but I’m so pleased that I ended up with Harry as a teacher! He is patient, enthusiastic, encouraging, exacting, and - perhaps most importantly - inspiring. Through my lessons I have been able to make tangible progress in my playing, but I also feel overall more ‘musical’; I pay vastly more attention to little details than I ever did because, as I’m sure anyone who has learned with Harry would agree, he never skips over anything and challenges you to really think about the music that you are playing. Studying under an active concert pianist has been so inspiring to me and I know that I can always trust his judgement when it comes to interpretation etc etc. Couldn’t want for a better teacher!

I have been a student of P&S for 4 years where my teacher (Harry) has helped me improve drastically throughout. I was on the verge of quitting piano before joining P&S but Harry has made it such an amazing experience, I am currently still doing piano and will continue to. The events hosted, pupil concerts, are very organised and enjoyable, they never fail to impress, highly recommend joining P&S!!
