Sandwell Valley Crematorium

This is probably not a place you want to visit too often. However, as you would expect, it is immaculate and very professional. It has a large seating capacity and is spacious both inside and out. There is plenty of car parking spaces. It has beautiful, landscaped gardens.

Thank you for the perfect service you gave this afternoon after we said goodbye to our dearest Brother.Nothing was too much trouble for you. Donna and your team are a credit to Sandwell Valley Reception Suite.The room was immaculate, lovely, warm and bright with flowers on the tables, plus a Memory Table where we put photos of our brother.We had the gold buffet for 30 people, which was excellent, the food was presented wonderful & tasted even better with plenty of it, plus sandwiches was with real crusty bread.We have no hesitation in recommending the Reception Suite for your wake after saying goodbye to your loved one.Thank you once again Donna & team.David, Wendy & Diane Corsi.

My experience with sandwell crematorium over the past few weeks dealing with my parents memorial stone has been horrendous very distressing. Staff contradicting each other and then not having our stone ready on time for the date set for internment of my parents ashes. Made every excuse as to why it wasn’t complete. I tried to cancel all work on stone and they said its already started and can’t cancel. Either it was done or it wasnt. Absolutely unprofessional service very stressful for our family.

Beautiful place of rest. I got my dog Milly buried here because she meant so much to me. The staff organised the burial an were very kind and understanding during this difficult time for me and my partner, family. Thank you

Lovely place to visit that is located just off the newton road!! Loads of space inside the grounds and has a very peaceful atmosphere to it when the sun is out! Always a pleasant visit whenever I come here! Car park is nice big so plenty of space even on busy days such as Christmas and parent days! Taps are located threw out the grounds so easy to water plants/flowers! Flower lady is usually located in the car park on certain days to purchase flowers.

The grounds are well kept, the auditorium was amazing but the reception suite afterwards was a big let down...the picture screen was constantly buffering, music was either turned off on a few occasions, donna (reveption suite manager) was quite rude and rushy but not in a polite way but in a very rude manner. I paid for gold food and wanted to take the remaining paid for food home but shekept coming over to remind me i need to go made the process even longer...maybe invest in trays that can be taken home as I'm paying over £650 I'm taking the food home & if you don't want to help me pack the food away into foil that you provided then do not rush me out and lie that the suite is booked for after as we say you lock up & leave once we was rushed out. Ender up wasting alot of tge food as we were ushered out. We was in the car park after sorting our disabled relatives and their safe travel home for 2 hours and the room wasn't made ready for anyone...

Family members return to the Crematorium yesterday on the 1st Anniversary of losing our loved one.They went to the allocated area for May and was appalled by the lack of the upkeep and its general appearanceStandards over the years have really declined. At one time dead flowers were always removed from the public areas and it was always a pleasure and comfort to walk around the grounds

i would like to complain about Tipton cemetery closing their 3 gates on Friday 27th. I arrived at 2pm and could not get in not even in the new footgate. There was no signs explaining why it was locked on any gates. When i got home i rang the office but no manager in the office would speak to me.We have been promised that camera's are going to be fitted all last year as a lot of graves at different times of the year especially at Christmas but they have not been installed so our expensive plots and grave stones are still not protected. We feel so let down full of empty promises and the green flag is flying!!! but not for families

Really impressed with the crem service room, massive window that overlooks the valley. High roof, airy feel, plenty of seating. In a light bright clean setting. If I wasn't at a funeral I would definitely say I would come again.

Always enjoy playing here. The facilities are excellent
