Thoburn Fresh Produce Ltd

You cannot beat Thoburns. Before lockdown I shopped there all the time for my fruit and veg and was never disappointed. When lockdown came I was mortified and worried how I could still get my produce but not a problem as they do home delivery and it is FREE. Their produce is good quality and reasonably priced...No inflated prices not like some places... Staff are brilliant and delivery guy is very pleasant. Plenty of choice. Well done to Mattie and all his staff. Look forward to coming back and shopping in person when I am allowed out.

Best fruit and veg shop ever. Staff are friendly and and helpful. Brilliant choice of fruit and veg and reasonable prices. Also great that they sale tinned goods and a variety of other groceries. Husband goes at least 3 times a week. Never have had anything from them that hasn’t been fresh or unusable. Excellent all round

Great service and lovely produce. I have had 3 deliveries from them during Lockdown. The first two were their fruit and veg boxes and now you can order what you want from the fruit and veg as well as other items. I loved the boxes but it’s better for me to choose what I want as it’s just me. It’s all so flavoursome I’d never go back to supermarket’s fruit and veg.

Fantastic quality food, delivered promptly to myself and my family members, who were thrilled to get food boxes delivered instead of queueing for stores in this pandemic. Produce lasted longer too. Would definitely recommend Thoburns! #buylocal

Had a couple of deliveries from here now including the mixed fruit and veg box the salad box. The produce is lovely,fresh and tastes like fruit did when I was young. I also like the fact you can also get many other things including bread butter cakes and even alcohol with free delivery for a 10.00 and over spend. I will definitely be using again.

I go to supermarkets for fruit and veg you cannot shop for a week as they go soft and apples awful. I used to go to Thorburns when they were at southwick market. I saw advert for delivery and placed an order. Fruit and veg spot on and lasts for ages.They also do essentials and Vino .Delivery service fantastic. I will be using again.If deliveries stop then I will have to head into Sunderland centre .thank you for lovely service and local fresh veg

Excellent service from thorburns. Currently heavily pregnant during the covid outbreak, its not easy to get out at the minute. Ive ordered fruit, veg and salad boxes all delivered very fresh. This morning i ordered at 0600 and the items were delivered by 1330. Good to keep local businesses trading too in times like this! Well done thoburns!

Got a delivery first time, not only all my fruit n veg needs but ordered lots of extras, fresh eggs, pasta sauce snd both kinds of flour. Everything in the pack was fresh and delivery next day. Cant fault and defo reccomend.
