The Mindful Eating Clinic
For all of my life I have had an eating problem, which has impacted my life on a daily basis. Not one of the usual eating disorders, or so I thought, but one that I thought was weird. Turns out, it wasn't. Lori cannot magically solve your eating problem with an extraordinary click of her fingers. Lori works with you, to help you understand your eating disorder and how it came to be a problem for you. This process touched on my childhood and opened up my eyes and mind as to the cause of my problem. Fascinating! I know I had a childhood that was different to most of my peers, but Wow! But for it to have been the cause of eating problem was eye opening. I know you're wondering what is my eating problem? I'm a fussy eater. And I always will be. But now I have the knowledge that some food items I will try and like, and some I won't. Before this process, it would of been a flat 'no' to trying foods There are not many people who like and eat everything. Good luck on your journey, should you wish to embark on it. It may be a bumpy ride, but worth the effort.

My journey with Lori has been amazing! Having struggled with Bulimia for over 40 years, I am now able to approach food like a normal person, without the guilt. Instead of eating for two, in secret and hiding food, I now can eat normal portions and still feel satisfied. Whilst it’s been a freeing experience, it’s not been without some bumpy roads, but that’s where Lori comes in. She is extremely kind, caring, understanding, empathetic and all round a lovely lady.But don’t take my word for it. If you are thinking of joining The Mindful Eating Clinic, stop thinking and just do it! You won’t be disappointed!

The Mindful Eating Clinic
Lori has been incredibly supportive in helping me move towards more mindful eating. Lori is patient, very wise and always structured her sessions to meet my specific needs. I can’t imagine getting such peace with food without Lori’s help. I chose to work with Lori because she is anti-diet culture whilst also understanding nutrition and health in depth. Lori taught me to slow down, she helped me get into a routine around my meals which has really stuck with me. She helped me understand where some of my negative eating behaviours and habits had come from, and I now recognise my triggers, vulnerabilities, as well as strengths. I would really recommend Lori to anyone who has any kind of difficult relationship with food, eating or weight.

The Mindful Eating Clinic
Lori has helped me so much over the last couple of months in becoming much more conscious and mindful about my nutrition. After stopping and starting dieting, I was getting frustrated with my lack of willpower, and Lori has helped me to realise that I don't always have to deprive myself and that being mindful is much more important than worrying if I haven't exercised or tracking calories in and out. Lori has been so incredibly supportive and has really helped me in developing a better relationship with food. I constantly felt at ease speaking to her and she really made me feel very comfortable in every session that we had together. The Mindful Eating Clinic
I owe Lori so much happiness in my life. As a 21 yo with a binge eating disorder, I came to Lori expecting her to help me to stop the binge episodes after seeking countless other forms of treatment. Within the first session, I could see the immediate shifts in my mentality, and after 12 weeks with her, I feel I'm a different person. But I'm not a different person, really. I'm the person I was always meant to be, minus a debilitating relationship with food. I was skeptical investing in myself at first, and I had good reason to, seeing nothing else seemed to have worked. Lori's approach assesses your life holistically, which means you get to the root cause of the issues, and not just stick a band-aid on it like other treatments/ diets. Lori's services are worth every cent, second, and ounce of energy. Do yourself a favour.
