Good place to walk. 6km passage is good, just wet with some muddy puddles. Stunning breath taking views.

We arrived about an hour before low water. China Girl draws 2.2m. We got in fine. The entrance seems quite narrow, but again it all was fine. Nice welcome. The toilets and showers are clean and well maintained. Laundry is by token from the office €4 each for wash and dry. Use the quick wash to shorten the programme.

Parked here for the night last Friday . 15 euro and can use the toilets in the Marina building. 12 other campers there that night. Short walk into town. Great spot. Pity there weren't more of these facilities around Ireland. No problem paying 15 euro to park safely.

Beautiful place to sit and have a coffee. The entrance to the green way is located at the Carlingford Marina. You can hire bicycles or walk along the greenway with views overlooking Carlingford Lough.

Love parking up here. Easy to pay and we seem to always find a space even though its very popular now. We like to park up to get a view over the marina. They dont have electric hook up but they have a place to fill up with drinking water and a place for grey waste and toilet waste. Marina has a bar, restaurant and music so you dont even need to head into Carlingford itself if you didn't fancy the walk in.

This is such a beautiful place lovely buildings pubs and restaurants the weather was sunny and we spent the day totally relaxed and we bought two gorgeous wooden ducks to remind us of our time there

We were walking along the Greenway and discovered the coffee shop. We just had a coffee. It also serves breakfast and other food.

Highly rated for atmosphere and friendliness. Old pontoons can lend uniqueness. Easy to get to from the Republic or from Northern Ireland

Great Aire site (15 euro per night) with fantastic views, friendly staff and access to greenway cycle to Omeagh. Really nice cafe (try the Taco Salad and Buddha Bowl) on site with limited opening times except for weekends. Short 12 min walk into Carlingford itself.
