Fantastic! Booked a one day road trip for husband’s 40th. Wonderful day and Bex went above and beyond to make it special, even letting us change dates at the last minute due to an injury. Genuine 5 star service, thanks!

This was amazing! Bex was lovely, she made every effort to make sure we felt special and enjoyed the day, including a vegan picnic. Matilda is stunning and wonderful to drive. This was a birthday present and I couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you for such a wonderful day.

What can I say. From the moment I booked this trip I have been impressed with the hard work done by Bex & Alan today bring the experience to us. We chose a trip in the peak District, unfortunately the weather wasn't our friend but that took nothing away from the day. Matilda is a great car, I struggled to get used to Her (my fault not the car!). It's a Mini Cooper of course & I'm no giant not am I mini. Matilda is well kept & a real pleasure to be trusted with somthing special to Bex & Alan. We loved the chance to see places we've never been & recommend the John Mellor museum en route, the retro sweet hamper went down well too. Anyway suffice to say I would jump at the chance to do it again, just less pies in the weeks before the trip. Keep up the great work guys, hopefully see you in November, but We'll see your socials regularly. Ta Ta for now.

Great and friendly service, tied ribbon to Matilda to make my wedding day extra special. Matilda is amazing to drive and I was gutted when I had to hand her back.

I bought this experience as an early 40th birthday present for my wife, and she absolutely loved it. I got the half day but added on a couple of hours, along with the cream tea picnic. We started from Trentham and drove to Chatsworth House for a look round and picnic. The car is absolutely gorgeous, in such good condition, and sounds amazing with its raspy sporty exhaust. The picnic hampers were really cute, in proper baskets with a blanket and came with non alcoholic bubbly, scones, the best Roddas Cornish cream, retro sweets, tea making contents, I also requested sandwiches and Bex was happy to accommodate. Bex even gave lovely little nice touches, she had a mug made for my wife with a special birthday message on it and at the end did a Polaroid picture of us with Matilda! The whole thing was a truly memorable experience and I highly recommend to anyone.

We cannot rate Retro Mini Hire highly enough. Originally bought for us as a gift voucher, we had mixed expectations but we're blown away but the experience. Matilda the Mini is in immaculate condition and we loved being able to go off on a self drive adventure through the most beautiful surroundings. We were provided with a range of themed routes to choose from, with lots of thought and attention to detail to incorpate some great local spots to stop for coffee, ice cream and recommended photo opportunities. Bex and her family gave us the warmest welcome and we experienced great communication throughout the planning and booking process. I would (and already have!) highly recommend Reto Mini Hire and we'll absolutely have to book the full day experience next time. Thanks so much. Lisa & Joe

Wow wow wow- what a hugely enjoyable Mini Adventure!Firstly, thank you so much to Bex and Retro Mini Hire for trusting us to look after their beautiful mini for the day.Purchased a full day experience to celebrate my husbands 40th as something different and we genuinely had the best day ever!Matilda was so much fun to drive and also hugely enjoyable as a passenger!Not only did Bex ensure that we had the best route for the day to include some stunning locations and lunch / snack spots but the maps provided, quirky retro hamper and even retro Spotify playlist to soundtrack the day were all touches that helped make it extra special.The friendliness and warmth from Bex and her partner and trust they give for what is rightfully their pride pride and joy also made the experience. They even ended up giving us a dinner recommendation for the evening as we were staying locally which was also brilliant!We cannot recommend it enough and would definitely love to book it again in the future as other routes and places to explore. Best money ever spent!

Where to even start! We had the best time in Matilda in our road trip! We couldn’t have asked for better! Bex and Allan were so amazing right from the get go. From explaining everything about Matilda, showing us exactly how to drive her and what was what, right down to going through the whole route with us before we set off. They also sent us recommendations on places to visit and food etc, we really couldn’t have asked for more. This trip was a surprise birthday present for my husband and Bex helped to organise it all with me and he absolutely loved it. Not to mention how amazing the Christmas Hamper was aswell! We travelled up from south wales to experience the Derbyshire Dales in Matilda and it’s honestly the only way to do it! I’d highly recommend Retro Mini Hire, we had the best weekend! Couldn’t fault a thing!
