Monkstown Wood

Really nice place for a walk, dog friendly, and quite safe to let them wander as virtually all the footpaths are far enough away from the roads. The A92 does run alongside the Western end of the woods, so care must be taken here as it's a very busy road. Lots of wildlife to see. Large free car park. Check your furry friend for ticks in the summer.

Lovely spot to walk with kids or a dog. Easy and fairly smooth path in most parts.
