What a beautiful place to stay. Wonderful river views, so peaceful. Me and 3 friends stayed for 2 nights at Oak Lodge, the lodge was spotlessly clean with everything that we could need. We contacted the manager with a query, he was very helpful and nice with it.A great experience, nothing bad to report at all. Even the weather was great! Plenty of indoor and outdoor space at the lodge so definitely not on top of each other.Loved the hot tub too. We have decided make a visit here a yearly event.

I 100% would come back here , loved everything about it. Cant wait to book my next stay for me and my partner. You want regret staying here its perfect in every way...

Just returned from our 3rd stay at these beautiful cabins.Our past two stays have been in Meadow Lodge, we love everything about it, the views, the outside space, the firepit area especially.The inside of the lodge is also stunning, the living room area is so spacious with a huge television which we all loved. The bedrooms are delightful with stunning high ceilings, comfy beds, beautiful furniture .We have also stayed in Oak Lodge which is just as amazing, the view of the river is just superb.The cabins are amazingly clean and are of such a high standard, I dont think we will stay anywhere else now.Llangollen is also so close and such a lovely place.Tommy and his family are always close at hand, so helpful, couldn't thank them enough .We shall be back for our fourth visit very soon .Thank you !

Excellent stay over the festive period; with a beautiful warm arrival and lovely little hamper to get the Christmas spirit flowing, we had a perfect experience from start to completion.The cabin encapsulates the valley beautifully with the fresh flowing air from the hills to the ripples and water flow of the Dee river itself. (Perfect for a fresh wild swim)An ideal multi generational escape for the whole family.Our children adored the freedom of the adult sized bunk room and our parents loved the escape of the private on-suite.Cooking the annual feast with two ovens and many induction counter rings meant for a relaxed and fun filled Christmas Day.We have already re-booked and truly recommend this amazingly run family retreat log cabin in North Wales.

Amazing stay at the cabins. Everything was spot on - service, cleanliness, facilities etc. Hot tubs are amazing - nice to chill out in nature with a river and steam train view! Highly recommended and will definitely be back

Where do I start….? We love it here! We’ve stayed in all of the cabins now (bar the sleeps 12 one) multiple times and are all fab in their own way. The river side cabins are lovely in the summer to sit out and watch the river go by, and the tree house cabin is super cosy in the autumn/winter. The cabins are all pristine clean inside, and makes a great base for nearby walks, driving into Llangollen centre etc. Any problems are rectified almost immediately….we had an issue with the smoke alarm going off, Tommy came out in a matter of minutes to sort it for us. Would highly recommend!

A Real 5 Star Experience! We stayed in the Oak Lodge for my partners birthday. The cabin was pristine could not find a speck of dust anywhere. A very generous kitchen for self catering with everything you could need to cook or even bake also has cooking oil to hand! Appliances are top notch! The cabin has a very cozy feeling to it with great views and country walks, its exactly what you expect when you think of a countryside break! Llangollen and Corwen are a short distance away by bus for a day trip! The Hot tub is a lovely treat at the end of a long day. Tommy is a fantastic host sorting any issues in lightening speed time, even got us a bottle of milk when we ran out and forgot to pick some up! Can't wait to come back!

Yet another fabulous time here, we just love it. The cabins & hot tub are just so well kept. Superbly clean & tidy. So relaxing.We enjoyed catching up with you all.Hope all goes well next week for Tommy & Louis’s wedding. Can’t wait to see all the lovely photos. X

What a beautiful location! We stayed for 3 nights in Oak Lodge. The lodge is perfect, and so much was provided that you don't usually get on self catering holidays (tea towels, tea, coffee etc). It really makes the difference as you don't have to pack all kinds! Will definitely be booking again.
