Excellent personal and friendly service in building my Kinesis gravel bike. Makes a huge difference compared to past experiences with bigger more corporate bike shops when trusting someone with expensive gear!

Great shop, Allan went completely out of his way to find me the correct saddle. Fitted a service in on my bike in short notice. Nothing but a great experience!

Allan saved the day!My family and I were down in Cornwall on holiday when I had both an accident with my bike and a car crash just up the road. Allan made me a coffee and fixed up my bike to better than it was before. On top of that he was super friendly and welcoming, entertaining me with all sorts of bike- and non-bike stories as he worked.A true hero and a great shop too. You can tell there is a lot of knowledge and love here.

Stopped by for a new stem and had an amazing welcome by Allan and Rebecca. Allan basically gave me a full bike fit before agreeing on the length of stem I needed and fitting it quickly. Just the most perfect little bike shop!

Had a bike fit with Alan before my Iron Man and was fabulous - very friendly and approachable with some good tips for improving bike fit - made it all much more bearable! Have also had all my bikes serviced here for the last couple of years and always been great, I send all my friends to him!

Pop in when cycling past. First time I had taken my bike on holiday, it was a cheap secondhand bike I'd brought and the gears needed a little fettling.They looked at my bike straight away and helped adjust it so it was set up better for me.Super friendly and knowledgeable, if only I was local I'd be using them all the time, thanks

You might imagine that this out-of-the-way bike shop wouldn't be able to sort out tricky mechanical problems, or sell you top quality cycle clothing (men's or women's), or have a range of useful bike accessories, but you'd be horribly, embarrassingly wrong.Alan and Becks run one of the best bike shops we've had the good fortune to happen upon.Becks was away when I rolled in with what I thought was a catastrophic front disc brake failure, so we only met Alan whose enthusiastic response on the phone had us rolling back down hill to take our chance with his optimistic assurance that he'd be able to sort something out.We turned down the offer of a coffee from his little espresso machine and instead chatted whilst he diagnosed then operated on my poorly bike.Basically the guy is a legend. Soooo helpful and friendly. Even if he hadn't been able to fix the bike it would still have been worth the visit.These are people passionate about bikes. More road than mountain, perhaps (he does Iron Man events), but you can't help feeling he'd build you a new bike from bits than let you down.My wife bought a lovely Italian fine woollen long-sleeve cycling top.Bike people are invariably nice, but here you have something over and above expectations.Thank you Alan. Mega customer service! Phoned with a broken derailleur issue, got it in, talked through options and masterfully repaired-with some clever ingenuity-within 24 hours, ensuring I could continue my commute to work.Proper, can-do attitude from Allen, with obviously loads of experience and knowledge. Will be using again without a doubt for some components upgrade, and I highly recommend!Thanks very much indeed for an all round great experience!
