Better Birth at the Coast (incorporating Wise Old Owl Hypnobirthing)

Maddy's hypnobirthing classes were invaluable through my pregnancy, for the birth of our daughter and after. I was at first interested in hypnobirthing as I am often anxious in hospital settings and struggled with this throughout pregnancy. I started classes with Maddy half way through my pregnancy and she helped enormously with this, I used the tapes and techniques at home and when in hospital for appointments helping me remain calm and feel in control. It gave both me and my partner more confidence for birth and with Maddy's vast experience as a midwife she gave us the knowledge of what we should expect. My partner was able to better support me through labour and birth with what he had learned and practiced in our classes. Even though the birth did not go as I had hoped I was able to remain calm using hypnobirthing techniques throughout my stay in hospital and even through further surgery days after the birth. It really helped make it a much more positive experience. I would recommend classes with Maddy to any of my friends or family who are expecting.

I can not recommend Maddy enough! Her experience as both a midwife and a hypnobirthing practitioner meant that she was able to explain all parts of the process to us in a relaxed but professional way. Maddy was so supportive in so many areas at any time of the day, especially as all NHS classes were cancelled due to covid, she ensured we were fully equipped in all areas for pregnancy, labour and birth.Without Maddy, I would not have had such a positive, confident mindset throughout my pregnancy and although my birth did not go to ‘plan’, I still had an incredibly positive experience due to my sessions with Maddy as she gave me the confidence to take control of my choices.Thank you Maddy! Maddy is fantastic. I used Madeline for my second and third births after a bit of a traumatic experience first time round. She helped me to enjoy my pregnancies and have the calm and relaxed births that I had hoped for. Her midwifery experience really adds to the support she can provide and I would highly recommend her
