Hagley Stoves

Recently bought a wood burning stove from Hagley Stoves. Delighted with the stove and the service. Sean talked us through all the options and when it came to installing it he liased with National Grid to turn off some overhead power cables that run close to the house. Matt and Rich did a great job with the installation; clean, tidy and very professional. Thank you all! Would have no reservation in recommending.

I went into the shop and as expected everything seemed nice and the guy seemed very good. I gave him the details of what i was after, supplied and fitted and he said he'd email me a quote over with a view to supply and install in 6 weeks time. I was quite pleased and looking forward to getting a nice stove.I didn't receive a quote and chased it up twice both times saying I'll get it to you in a few days.I did explain I'm away on holiday soon so want to pay in full before I go.I've just spoken to him now and he said we're not selling to you because I want to keep it local" (I'm 4 miles away). I said I didn't understand and he said "every second I'm on the phone is a second I'm losing".He's made me feel like he didn't want to serve me in specific and I can't see why.I just wish he was forthcoming with this as when I called him to arrange coming to the shop he knew my location and I wouldn't have bothered.Now I've been waiting for about a week and have chased him twice. Purchased a DRU log burner from Hagley Stoves a while ago. Sean was always on hand to offer free friendly advice and is always Customer First"! I say this as we had a number of issues with the original burner that was fitted

Excellent customer service. Went in with an enquiry where there wasn’t a sale for them and they still allocated time, helped with me enquiry and gave me details of a place that could help.Excellent business and the gentleman was very friendly and helpful.

We called in to take a look at some stoves. We're in the middle of renovations and we won't be ready to buy for another few months but even so Sean spent a long time talking with us. He was incredibly helpful, and very candid describing the different experiences he has had with manufacturers over the years. When you buy a stove you look at the design and technical specs, but only by talking to someone with Sean's experience can you learn about the attitude of different manufacturers if you do have problems subsequently. Very impressed.
