I have been learning German with Stefan for a little over 2 years now - initially to support some work travel to Germany but I have continued with it throughout COVID to continue with something that I have enjoyed. Stefan's approach is well tailored to my needs and being able to speak to someone and learn is a huge benefit over only online tools. Highly recommended.

I have been working with Stefan for quite a few years now. His patience and flexibility is admirable. To me, learning through conversations rather than only practicing grammar is important. Our conversations covering everything from the German political landscape, history and culture is a highlights and provides me with a lot more than only the ability to practice my German language. Highly recommended.

He is not only extremely supportive but also pushes you to your best abilities and has allowed me to gain such confidence with the German language. Stefan Oloffs was teaching me online for almost about a year. Unlike in a classroom with a rigid schedule and curriculum, he tailored our lessons to my needs perfectly. We had a lot of speaking practise covering various topics, and it was always pleasant to chat with him.The way he captured notes during our sessions were very organized. He had his own material capturing the most key information about various types & levels of grammatical topics, as well as following worksheets, that built up in a very logical way.All these aspects allowed me to easily go back and find material, review what I learned, advance very quickly and eventually pass the German level exam I needed, at the time I targeted.Thank you!

Stefan significantly improved my German in such a short space of time. He encouraged me to solely speak in German each lesson, even though I had little confidence in my German ability. However after a few months I grew more confident and loved speaking and making jokes in German. Fun work exercises were given to me to consolidate my grammar and were of great help to me. i thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Stefan. Would highly recommend him to anyone of any level!

Can't recommend it enough, brought my skills with German up at a very quick level and Stefan has always been very friendly and open to just having a chat in German. Very flexible around lessons too. Stefan has been great at identifying where I was weak and putting together an approach on how to best get me up to the mark in that area.

Stefan is a very thorough teacher and extremely helpful. I went to him in November with the genuine concern I would fail my German exams at university but his teaching has been so great and made me feel so comfortable with the language. I recently received my results and not only passed my exam but by a mile and I couldn’t have done it without his tutoring. :)
