Just stayed here for a stag do. We had the whole house. Host was very good when we turned up. Lovely house, lovely rooms. Would happily stay again

I stopped with my family, 4 adults. The beds was exceptional and enough for adults. Host was very explanatory very helpful. Room very clean and spacey. Quite nights sleep, beds comfortable. Breakfast, continental and a none full English. But the options are very nice. Sorry no photos of the rooms. Very near the beach

Great place to stay. Large group of us rented out the whole place and had full access to all the areas. Good facilities and comfy rooms.

We have just had the most amazing stay at the Hedley Hotel! Rooms were clean, hand sanitizers everywhere! The staff were so helpful and that take-away breakfast was delicious! I went for the cheese toasted sandwich and fresh chocolate cookie in the morning - this place is a little diamond! Will be returning again in September :)

The room was nicely decorated. Lovely breakfast. The low eves made it quite dangerous as my partner kept hitting his head. There was no wardrobe in the room, so we had to hang our clothes on the 'over the door' hanger. Not ideal!Although beautiful, the room was also too small for two people.

We were expecting excellence as read a lot of good reviews. The room we stayed in was too tiny for 2 with terrible set up and hardly any space to move - very uncomfortable. The bed mattress was bowshaped so we kept sliding off hence poor sleep. Had to put a pillow underneath the mattress on both sides to keep it up. The wardrobe was pressed against the bed so that it's door could be hardly opened - we had to turn the wardrobe sideways to make it work. The selection of teas poor - just one type of tea. Same goes for the shower - tight little cabin. This room is absolutely not worth the money we payed for it.Otherwise good location, okay breakfast. Staff not overly friendly- more business like.Overall we hoped for a more homely, warm and comfortable stay.Whatever you do - don't book the top room.

Recently spent 4 nights here in the family suite on the top floor of this converted townhouse hotel. If you're not a fan of stair climbing then this isn't the room for you, otherwise it was perfect for our family of 4, with a double bed and two single beds, shower room with a large shower cubicle, small walk in storage area with shelves and hanging rail/hangars for clothing, and a cosy seating area. There's one TV and a small fridge at that end of the room, and a second TV facing the single beds.Being on the top floor, the room was relatively quiet, and with the windows open there was a pleasant through breeze to keep the room cool. There's free WiFi accessible through the hotel, with one of the access points right outside the room, so other than having to log in once a day to renew your connection, it was a far better experience I've had compared to the WiFi offerings at many other hotels. The hotel is situated an easy 10 minute walk from the pier down the sloping promenade path - the hotel is one block back from the seafront, so you just have to turn left out the front door, cross the road, and walk a couple of minutes to reach the clifftop - (and if you don't fancy the climb back up afterwards, there's a funicular lift running during the daytime that can whisk you back up to the top for a couple of quid. There's also one of the zigzag paths leading directly down to the beach at the foot of the cliffs, though personally we preferred to head a little further to the west to Durley Chine beach. For eating out there's a variety of restaurants immediately surrounding the hotel - including a very nice Turkish one over the road - plus several more a short walk/drive away, and a small but well stocked local shop around the corner if you want to stock up the fridge, grab some snacks etc.Other than the number of stairs to climb to get to the room, the only real problem with this hotel is finding somewhere to park, especially on a busy weekend period for the town - if you're exceedingly lucky then you might find an onstreet space (all of which are free), otherwise you'll need to try the pay and display car park a few minutes walk up the road. But that aside, and it really was just a minor issue even over the bank holiday weekend when we arrived in the town, our stay here was a pleasure from start to finish - coming back to the room after a long day at the beach, it felt more like coming home than coming back to a hotel, which helped make the whole holiday the truly relaxing one we were after.

It's alright. Good size room, well priced. It was on the top floor so plenty of waking to get to it.Two big issues. The mattress quality is really poor. Extremely thin and way too soft. OK maybe for lighter People or children.Only one set of keys so when I went in early I had to stay awake for the rest of the party and then climb the stairs again...Breakfast was alright too but a fairly limited choice.
