Chorley’s Truro
African themed restaurant not far from Truro Carhedral. Varied menu and takeout availability, the ribs were excellent. The restaurant is small, so would suggest booking in advance.

Fantastic place, small but well run and organised. Without a booking we were greeted and welcomed. Shane explained the menu and checked on us during the meal. We watched him happily greet people, and fit patrons in where he could. The food, wow. Just perfect. We wish we had more time in Truro to try more menu items.Terrific casual spot, give them a try.

Chorley’s Truro
Lovely food and lovely service. Food was tasty and very filling. Only down side is that the booths in the pics are not built for larger boned people (embarrassing), but thankfully, there are other free-standing tables and chairs to sit on. We had chicken wings for starters and the mild chorley's sauce was lip smackingly good. Followed by mutton curry and a mix up grill. Wow we were so full up, we nearly needed wheelbarrows to carry us back. Very very filling and flavoursome food. The artwork outside was breathtaking. The only criticism and it is very small is that the toilet is up some stairs which may not be so good for mobility challenged individuals. Other than that highly recommended and we will be back again.

First time we had visited and we were impressed! We both had Bunny Chows, which were curries in half loaves. They were fab, tasty and the right amount of spice to them. They were very filling, which sadly meant we had no room for dessert or to try an alcoholic milkshake, but it has given us an excuse to go back! The owner who served us was very friendly and took the time to chat to us about the concept and history. Definitely recommended.

First time at Chorley's and South African food. The Veggie option was really moorish and the mutton curry was amazing. A good choice in desserts as well. Great atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

As expats, we were so looking forward to some of our home cooked cuisine, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a let-down. The atmosphere was great and our waitress was really friendly and the service was quick. However, the food did not taste like it does back in South Africa. If you have never tried it before, you probably wouldn't know any different and might probably like it.
