Sam looked after our 4 cats and 3 guinea pigs for a week and she did an absolutely amazing job. Sam visited us a few weeks before our holidays with an open ear to all our requests and our pets particular needs. She got to know our pets and explained what to expect while on holidays. Sam is insured and is a professional through and through.During our holidays we kept connected via Whatsapp and Sam provided us with photos and stories about our pets life.It is just wonderful to know your pets are not just in friendly and caring but as well capable and professional hands.We already booked Sam for our next holidays.

We left our young cat, Rosie in Sam's very capable hands for our first family break away. We were very pleased with the regular updates and followed Rosie's progress eagerly. Knowing everything was okay was very reassuring Sam gained her trust through her patience (Rosie hid under our beds for the first couple of visits) and kindness. As the week went on Sam enjoyed play time, cuddles and purring.We returned to a calm, relaxed cat who had clearly been well cared for in our absence.Highly recommended to anyone requiring a cat sitter for their first or next holiday.

Couldn’t ask for more from a cat sitter. Sam looked after our cat with twice daily visits for half a week. She was so patient and caring with him, great communication, an experienced and trustworthy sitter. Fully recommend and hope to use her service for any future trips.

My cats adore Sam, she's taken care of them in 3 ocassions now and I couldn't leave them in better hands. Whenever I'm on holidays, I know that they are comfortably home, no stress of going to a cattery, and they don't feel lonely either. 100% recommendable!

I first reached out to Sam following a few recommendations (a vet being one - impressive) as I had booked a two week trip and have a very nervous cat who loves her routine so a cattery was not the right option.Sam was absolutely incredible from the offset. It was clear she understands animals and their behaviours very well. We arranged a short period of cat sitting to allow Kojo time to bond with Sam and that first weekend was all I needed to have faith that both Kojo and my house will be very safe with Sam’s care. Much to my suprise Kojo formed a quick bond with Sam and with the video updates Sam would send I’d relax more and more. Following the first trip I knew there was no one else better placed to look after Kojo and I relaxed so much more about going away for two weeks. Thanks for your amazing and professional service throughout. There’s no one I’d trust more and I know Kojo feels the same and misses your cuddles ( she’s not usually one to cuddle anyone but me so this was so lovely to see when Sam sent the videos)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have booked the cat-sitting service twice now with Starks and Barks, and this will always be my 1st choice for our cat when we are away.The 1st time we used Sam she was able to accommodate us at very short notice, agreed to come over to meet us and our cat, understand his personality and usual routine.We received daily updates and photos morning and evening whilst she visited and let us know how our cat was doing. Sam provides a reliable service and I fully trust her to care for my cat and come into our house whilst we are away. She is friendly and welcoming, honest about what timeframe she will arrive and how long for, communicates promptly and provides an exceptional service for an affordable fee.

Sam is very professional and punctual, I trusted her to take care of my two cats while I was on holiday and I was amazed by how well they got on with her. Highly recommend!
