Clark's butchers is a top quality butchers in Lewes Road, we've just had Ribeye steaks purchased from there and they were so juicy and tender. There is no need to go out to a steak house when you can buy top quality meat at a good price ftom your local butcher.That also goes for the chicken breasts, sausages, minted lamb, mince and burgers.And delivered. No need to hump lower graded meat home from the supsrmarket.I highly recommend this place.

I've been going to Clarks for my meat for over a year now and can honestly say it's fantastic.It's far cheaper than the supermarkets and the quality of the meat is superb. Paul can tell you exactly where each piece comes from and he buys as local as possible on nearly everything.Nothing is too much trouble for him and he'll make up what your looking for there and then if it's not already prepared. Watching him prep a venison join from the fresh carcass (sourced from only 10 miles away) was a sight to behold, the man has excellent skills when it comes to prepping meat with no wastage.Prices are superb, the products are superb, I can see no reason to shop anywhere else for meat. If you're still buying meat from supermarkets then stop, go here and get twice as much at at least double the quality for around half the price most of the time.

Owner couldn’t care less about locals as he blocks the pavement everyday with his van.The van and his signs are blocking access for a variety of pedestrians. Including school traffic and prams.Meat isn’t from local farms or ethically sourced. Try archers or barfields.. AVOID.

This place is the best place to get meat from! Always fresh and give the best they can. Had a problem with them but was rectified straight away! They have a wide selection of vegetables too so Christmas times are easy in just one place. Their bacon is to die for too! Great prices. My advice to to go in and have a look and you won't be disappointed. Very friendly helpful staff on top. Best place in Brighton AND hove. They also take orders and let you pay off. Great!

I went in for some meat for a game pie and there was a big choice of local game. I came away with wild duck and venison for £12 but i only used a third of that to make a big pie and still lots left for 2 more dishes. It was delicious and fresh. I was also impressed that they only sell rabbits that have been ferreted and not shot full of lead. I will be trying to buy all my meat here from now on.

I can't recommend this play highly enough... It's been around for a while and it's only in the last year I've realised what a fantastic selection of cuts they have. You take your luck a bit on what they have in but I've come away with brilliant steak, oxtail, pheasant, venison etc etc.

I am based in Bristol with a daughter in Brighton who works for NHS. We’ve now had three deliveries and not being a Facebook member all my orders gave been taken over the phone, very quick and trouble free. I am told on each occasion the meat and veg delivered have been of outstanding quality, praise indeed from daughter’s bf who is a chef ...Excellent service and off to place my fourth order!

Have used this butcher for the first time today after being nagged by my son for ages. I have to say, I am very very impressed with the quality of the meat. It looks fantastic. Amazing customer service and very very prompt delivery. Thanks guys. We will be back.

I've been buying my meat from this great local supplier since they opened. Without exception the more conventional breeds and cuts have always been top quality and the game is the best you can find in Brighton - by far.Some of the deals are significantly better than you could find in a supermarket and the quality and taste infinitely superior.If you support this local enterprise you will eat well and probably try some great new food ideas.

If you want and love top quality meat then Clark's Meat and Poultry is the place to go! Paul knows exactly where ALL his meat comes from and is always willing to source the less well-known cuts. His prices are always keen and in a lot of cases considerably cheaper than the 'big boys'.A good butcher is worth his weight in gold and Paul is DEFINITELY a good butcher.
