Brilliant pub would definitely recommend to anyone in the local area!! Has a very friendly vibe and is very clean with reasonable prices. the food is also very good!! And of course most important of all its dog friendly. Whether you live nearby or just passing through I would definitely stop by you won't regret it. I visited for a recent event I was hired as the photographer and will definitely be coming again.

Such a lovely cosy pub and their salad cobs are delicious and freshly made. I like the atmosphere of this place and the friendly people also. I wouldn't mind popping in on a few occasions for a little drink just to soak up the atmosphere and not worry about ignorant rude people.

This was a welcome find on a wet and windy night with a good selection of beers. The food we had (scotch egg and pork pie) were lovely, and we highly commend the pub for actually keeping these items chilled, not stuck in the counter out of the chill chain as we have seen in many places.As it was a Sunday evening and not long before Christmas, there weren't many customers in, in fact it became just me and my other half after a while. Such a shame for ALL pubs which is why we ho and support them when they need supporting.

Great atmosphere!! The inside of the pub is very clean and clearly shows the pride they take in running the pub. Reasonable prices and amazing food!! Would definitely recommend.

An historical pub with a ton of photos showing the local history.I had a good real ale (see photo) for around £4. Would have stayed longer, but couldn't due to driving.Good beer garden, too.

Awesome pub, wide range of drinks available including several guest ales and ciders. Great atmosphere and decor. Good dart board too.Tons of spacious outdoor seating, most of which is sheltered from the elements too.
