Bearded Men Adventures
Great fun despite it hammering down for the whole experience. Our guide ( think his name was Joe?) was really friendly and made sure everyone was safe. Gave us a bit of extra guidance after we were ping ponging down the sides. One thing that wasn’t mentioned was parking; the meeting place is at the side of the canal, we asked and was told to use the community centre opposite. If you are lucky enough, they may be selling more cakes there for their scouts visit to London

Bearded Men Adventures
Great time spent yesterday at Bearded Men’s HQ. Axe throwing and archery supervised by Ali who was great. Kept us all entertained, well informed and well trained and safe. Could see a marked improvement from all involved over a short period especially with the bows and arrows. Great fun and will definitely be back for more.

Bearded Men Adventures
Such an amazing experience! Our party of 7 had booked the evening slot for the Aqueduct Canoeing and we had a fantastic time. Liz was our guide; so lovely and patient with our group. We were talked through everything very well and were told a lot of facts about the Aqueduct. We all had so much fun and made some good memories. When we got back to the meeting point we spoke to Liz about some of the other activities that the team offer. We’ll definitely be back for more adventures. Thank you Liz for an amazing experience!

Bearded Men Adventures
Absolutely fantastic experience. We spent the afternoon learning the secrets of axe throwing and also archery. Ali our instructor was superb, he gave us great insight into the art of both activities and all the encouragement we needed. Set on the banks of the beautiful river Dee we had a lovely afternoon learning new skills. I would definitely recommend a visit there.

Bearded Men Adventures
The family had a morning canoeing over the aqueduct and then an afternoon of white water rafting. We were very well looked after by Ally and John and had an incredible experience on both adventures. Thank you, we would definitely do it again!

A very informative tour given by Ali this weekend. Fortunately the sun was shining for us so we had a great tour.If I had any negatives, it would be that I would have liked a little more time on the water. But I do understand that they have to accommodate various levels of ability.

Bearded Men Adventures
Great day out on the canal. We were met by friendly instructors who greater us and gave us a safety talk. It wasn’t long til we were on the water and given time to practice turning, going forward and back.Our instructor gave us freedom to go at our own pace, but kept the group in touching distance.We had a coffee and toilet break and a little tour around the aquaduct.We got on well with the other canoes, and traveled thru some beautiful scenery.Go with a positive attitude and you’ll have a great morning.Our instructor recommended a stop at Llangollen for coffee and lunch, worth the visit and walk round.

Staff was very friendly. Liz was our guide. She was great. We had the full experience from putting the canoes on water to learning to navigate and the rules of the canal. The view was amazing. Good teamwork to workout how to navigate the canoe if you are a first timer. You feel much warmer than you think (with life jacket on and work) Leave time to explore around. You can walk the aqueduct and surrounding areas.

Bearded Men Adventures
Did this as a birthday present and I had such a great time. Joey was brilliant, we had a great laugh with him and he had fantastic knowledge of the local area. Highlight was crossing the aqueduct and looking over the edge. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, will definitely be recommending this trip. Thank you for a fabulous day.
