Songbird Tattoo Exeter Nic Smith

I had my first tattoo at Songbird and I was really nervous. I was really put at ease though by the relaxing atmosphere, nice music, clean environment and chilled vibes. The staff are really great and were very understanding of my constant mind changing and final tweaks to my design. My tattoo took just over 3 hours to complete and I absolutely love it. I want more now!! Great studio decor too. Would highly recommend this place.

I had one of my tattoos done at Songbird and am desperate to return for more soon. The artists are all extremely talented and make you feel completely at ease. The studio's clean and welcoming, and the aftercare is excellent. I've been to a few different studios in Exeter, but Songbird is by far the best.

Nic was friendly and professional, the design I asked for was executed brilliantly, and sent to me a few days in advance so we had time to discuss a few tweaks.Placement was nailed 1st time and I was getting inked I was checked in on regularly for pain levels.I'm delighted with the finished result. Nic gave clear advice on aftercare and my gorgeous giraffe (called Martha) is healing nicely!Thanks Nic! I'll be back to Songbird soon!

Got an amazing tattoo from Nic yesterday. She was so sweet and fitted me in last minute! She was also incredibly understanding about my mask exemption and chatted to me whilst doing the tattoo so I could focus on something other than the pain as it was only my second tattoo :) so honoured to have her art on my body!

I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Nic in her gorgeous home studio today. I started following Nic’s Instagram a couple of months before booking in & loved what I’d seen, it was when I saw the video of her studio I just ‘knew’ she was the right person to do what was a very important piece to me.18 months ago I had a nasty accident in which I broke my ankle & required pretty extensive surgery to repair, I was left with 2 big scars, one in particular made me feel sick every time I looked at it. I lost confidence due to how it looked, I contacted Nic & asked if there was anything she could do given the unevenness & discolouration of the skin & her reaction was ‘absolutely’. I sent photos & measurements of the scars, told her what I liked & she came up with a design. When I saw the emailed design I loved it instantly, she just ‘got it’ & there wasn’t a single thing that needed changing.As for tattoo day, what a lush experience! Nic’s one of those people that instantly makes you feel at ease, she was super friendly & chatty. The studio itself is the most welcoming space, there’s so much to see in there to distract you from the pain & it has air conditioning which was a godsend given how hot it was today. Nic really took the time to make sure I was in a comfortable position before she got started & I felt comfortable that if I wanted a break at any point it wouldn’t be an issue.The finished tattoo is stunning, her dot work has brought the design to life & I can’t stop looking at it. The design has perfectly covered my scars & I can hardly see them now. I already feel much more confident with my leg on show than I was. That confidence will only grow once the tattoo has healed & the Dermalize comes off.I can’t wait to go back for another scar cover up & an old tattoo cover… I’m sure I’ll think of a few more tattoos I now ‘need’ too!Thanks Nic, like I said earlier, this is life changing for me & you are a very talented woman x

I got tattooed by Nic here and she was absolutely lovely. Everyone is lovely there. You are treated very well from designing your tattoo to the finished tattooed and aftercare! The studio has a lovely decor and is very clean! I would definitely come here again!

I don't generally leave reviews - but I felt it was needed as I am so very happy with my tattoo.I contacted Songbird tattoo concerning a portrait I wanted done, and experienced good customer service from the get-go. After popping in for a consultation, Syluss completed the portrait and it is simply amazing. The atmosphere in the studio wass friendly and comfortable. I cannot recommend these guys enough and the fact that i am already considering booking in for another project is testament to how good they are.

Over the past few years I have had 3 tattoos from Ry here and the results were stunning. As someone who suffers with anxiety and is quite shy, I was made to feel welcome and relaxed. I’m constantly asked where I get my tattoos from and I proudly tell them about songbird in Exeter. I plan definitely to go back there for more tattoos as all the artists there are just fantastic.

Lovely tattoo studio! Staff are friendly and they make you feel very relaxed whilst having your tattoo done. Nic done my first tattoo(4 hours) and done a fab job! I will definitely be going back for my future tattoos:)
