Always use the Long stay car park, when leaving car at airport. Bus runs around all car-parks picking people up. Had a very good bus driver who helped us with luggage, and lent mam his fleece , as she was shivering so much (, it was 04.20am in July!!). Safe, and secure parking, as entry & exit by ticket only. Definitely recommend.

It's fine. We were able to park close enough didn't need bus as had wheeled cases. Regards the bus. It doesn't run 24hrs and need to phone from bus stop to ask for pickup. Remember to note car park zone letter and bus stop number.

When we arrived at long term it was empty and closed and we're were directed to another further away. There was a bus but we did not find it until we were walking towards the airport. It was good and picked us up on the way back. If we had known this we would have noted the bus stop and the letter of the carpark area and this would have helped when we tried to locate our car on our return

Its too far to walk from the long stay car park to the terminal unless you have a small bag. You'll need to wait for the bus. Its also not that pedestrian friendly walking, as I did. Do not be tempted to pick up your passengers anywhere on the airport perimeter roads marked with double red lines, there are hidden cameras everywhere. I stopped for 30 seconds in the dark to pick up my wife and suitcases in a traffic free area and was fined £60 by the car park management company for doing this - beware!

If you have to make use of this car park, then:Walking isn’t easy if the bus isn’t running, i saw a few incidents of family versus trolley. If you have a blue badge don’t bank on grabbing a blue badge bay, maybe those owners of vehicles parked in such bays without badges have returned home to fines, I have no way of telling, but there were a few. What’s the fascination with cardboard tickets, Surely enough money is being made to justify shelling out on number plate recognition.I’ll probably have to make use of the car park in the future, but will try and avoid doing so by making alternative arrangements.

Paid extra for the premium long stay and it was certainly worth it the only issue I had was at the barrier where I had to wait a while for someone to answer the intercom, I don't understand why number plate recognition isn't the barrier. It would be alot simpler.
