Vernon did a fantastic job for me in selling a diamond ring and some silver. He clearly has excellent knowledge. It was done within the timescale he set and with transparent and clear pricing. He achieved a much better price than the valuation an auction house gave, and almost three times that quoted by a jeweller. He really made an effort on my behalf to secure a good price and I fully recommend him.

Selling some miscellaneous pieces of silver, jewellery etc., through Vernon Ward has been a very pleasurable experience, and clearly he is an individual with very high standards. My husband and I were impressed because although the values might be considered modest, the care and attention paid to us throughout the whole process was second to none. It puts to shame those larger enterprises that we have dealt with in the past, whose employees could do with a course in client relationships. At the end of the day Vernon managed to achieve a higher price for the various pieces than we had anticipated. We wish him well for the future.

After visiting London jewelers with my collection of unworn jewelry I felt unsure as to the way they worked so I contacted Vernon and his team which was a great move away from the trade seen in London.Vernon invited me to visit him and after a long chat with lots of great advice I instructed him to sell my items knowing he had private collectors.He kept me informed throughout the duration and within 10 days he had achieved higher prices than I was offered in London.It was a far superior style of business.Private and confidential, friendly and polite and above all a great result.I would thoroughly recommend.

My first contact with Vernon was by phone. He invited me to visit with my jewellery and silverware and I was made very welcome by both Vernon and Hayley. Over a cup of tea, Vernon gave a thorough appraisal and valuation of each item and agreed to try and sell them for me. He immediately inspired confidence. None of my items were particularly valuable, but Vernon invested as much time and effort into finding buyers as he would have done had they been truly valuable. I would like to thank Vernon and his team in selling a collection of inherited fine jewellery with pieces ranging from the 30s until the late 90s . It is always a difficult decision to know where to sell a range of items online ? auction house ? pawnbrokers or local jewellers? I am happy to say Vernon and team excelled . All items were sold within the time frame he allocated and for far greater prices than elsewhere. It was a bespoke service with no difference in service between higher and lower priced items , the commission is way below the going rate and it was a joy to meet Vernon and his team who were welcoming knowledgeable and always on hand to update myself with any changes to the item being sold .Vernon is passionate about his work and in my personal opinion there would be no who I recommend more to sell my jewellery than Vernon .

FANTASTIC SERVICE..I contacted Vernon by email after my husband inherited some antique silverware, I needed a valuation and some advice.They responded same day asking for some photographs. I sent over some pictures as requested and Vernon called me the following day.He gave me his opinion of what the value of our items was, along with some good advise on how we should re-market them. He did all this free of charge!Thanks ever so much Vernon. Brilliant service.

I contacted Vernon after finding his company on Google. I was uncertain about using an auction house and Vernon's approach looked like the sort of service I wanted. So I sent some photos of the items that I wanted to sell and received a phone call back very quickly. Vernon gave me an estimate of the value of the goods and his opinion of their marketability. I made a visit to his premises, and we had a great conversation about the items. Vernon kept to his contracted agreement of 10 days, sold all my items and gave me a good price.
