Lori was fabulous. We phoned from outside where we thought her shop was and she directed us to her flat. Very quick and incredibly helpful. Kilt delivered 2 days later. I can highly recommend Lori for any alterations you may need done to your kilt.

Fantastic service! Needed some lockdown inches added to a kilt and was getting fed up with all the bigger shops giving weeks of ETA and having to book appointments to even look at it. From first contact Lori was clearly very professional and trustworthy, even offering a next day service as if it was no bother.Kilt was ready in a no rush 4 days which was far better than the 4 weeks i was quoted from high street shops, and finished to a beautiful standard with room for future adjustment added without asking for it.Overall great experience, avoided long waits and last minute stresses. Will definitely recommend and return for anything else needed. Also got some good chat too!

As a tour guide, I needed my kilt fixed fast between tours, and Lori was able to do it within 24 hours and at an extremely reasonable price. I would definitely use her services again.

Lori operates from home, but she has loads of experience and is a true expert when it comes to kilt making and alteration. Better value and better quality than what you will get from a lot of the big names elsewhere in Edinburgh. She will give you honest advice and excellent workmanship.

I had my kilt and plaid cleaned, basted and pressed by Red Ruairidh Kilts after they got very wet and creased while performing at H.M. King Charles's Coronation. The turnaround was quick and the work was of the highest standard, extra repairs (that I didn't know needed doing) were carried out with updates on the work and work needed communicated efficiently. I will definitely use Red Ruairidh Kilts again.

Really great service and a great price. I was in Edinburgh for a few days for a wedding and urgently needed my kilt adjusted. I was able to get it done on the same day, collected from my hotel and returned there which is something I haven't seen advertised anywhere else. Despite the super quick turnaround, the price was great and the work was done well. I had a chat with the lady who runs the business and she seemed super knowledgeable on all things kilts. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent service. Had kilt adjusted and then went back to get my curtains adjusted too! Great quality work for a good price. Can't recommend enough. Will be back with any further alterations I need done in the future. Thank you!
