Armistead Property

I have just most out of one of Amistead's flats in Northenden after 10+ years. Cannot recommend them highly enough. All repairs and replacements were dealt with promptly, often straight away. Cookers (several), sofa, shower, toilet, heaters, boiler, leaks and floods all dealt immediately. They also have zero tolerance of smoking inside flats and loud noise - allowing you to have complete peace of mind. Sean the manager and Jarek the handyman are both very polite, prompt, reliable (they call back asap) and friendly - often stopping for a chat. I was not in a good place mentally but the stability their excellent service provided meant that I never had to worry the home side of things. This allowed me to gradually save up enough of a deposit to buy my own flat. Thank you for everything Sean and Jarek

I moved into an Armistead Property In Manchester In May 2016, compared to my previous moves it was so easy and Sean was always so punctual with his communication. We were only charged what was needed, no added fees and if anything needed looking at or we had any concerns Sean replied the same day and the maintance team were out the same day. I only planned on stayin a year but the property was so beautiful and well looked after externally from the Armistead team (gardening/windows cleaned with no added fee) I stayed nearly 3 years and only moved out because I have moved to London. We received the full deposit back and communication remained outstanding, even after the last day. I would highly recommend Armistead Property’s to anyone, they don’t even compare to other landlords, if all landlords treated tenants the way they treated us and the property, moving would be a wonderful and not a stressful experience. Sean, who we've dealt with, has been incredibly helpful and friendly right from looking around the property to leaving it recently when we bought our own house. We've been living in one of their new flats in Chorlton for almost 2 years now. The flat itself is beautiful - high quality finishing, very well positioned with big windows to allow for a lot of light. Quality throughout, we have been very impressed with the features and truly loved living here. Additionally, the management has been absolutely brilliant. Sean, our property manager, has been fantastic throughout. If there was ever an issue (like locking ourselves out!) it was always resolved immediately, communication was great throughout and overall made us feel very welcome in our flat. My partner and I really couldn't speak highly enough about Sean and his team!I would strongly recommend Armistead properties to my friends purely because of the quality of their properties but also the support they provided by the management!

I have just finished my tenancy with Armistead Property, I lived in one of their properties for almost two years. The moving-in and moving-out processes were seamless and I have absolutely no complaints about any of it. Any questions I had during my tenancy were handled quickly and with care. I was also given the direct contact of their repairs person so I could contact him if anything needed fixing in the property - he was quick and always very polite. Thank you for everything!

Now here’s a strange one.I’d been living in a flat for 8 years working its way down to far below market rents. Then along came Armistead, bought the building and wanted all out. Worst possible time for so many reasons. Like for like would have to pay double but even at that, the places we viewed were rotten comparatively.Brooklands Estates who managed the property throughout and were always a nightmare became emboldened, unshackled from the oversight of a previous landlady. I believe they ‘assisted’ some other residents to move and I really feel for them if continuing that relationship. I caught them out once more locking all inside a firetrap made by them installing a lock that could only be opened from outside via the only viable exit. Denial as usual but along with having the Council ordering them to replace the lock within 24 hours, I had recorded their activities.Armistead had throughout been informative over their intentions and invited us to contact them directly to offer assistance in moving. Although the council were disinterested in the activities of Brooklands beyond having the lock replaced, Sean Dunn from Armistead took the time to read and listen to my concerns. He immediately took action disconnecting us from the agents and taking on their responsibilities. He came round to chat openly at first opportunity.I am recovering from radiotherapy, was unfit to move and despite reporting all clearly to the agents, by reply I only received their standard wilful ignorance or worse. Sean listened and fully took on board our complex concerns. This would have been challenging as I had developed a deep mistrust of others by this point however honesty from both side won over this. I was completely assured he would do all he could to help and could focus upon what would be best for all.The result. We have just now moved to a sheltered complex which despite being more expensive like everywhere else suits our needs far better. I was amused on reading a previous review here for first time. Due to our situation we were lucky enough to have Sean asking Jarcek to help us move. He was terrific and all went far more smoothly than we could have imagined.Good people all in.
