Southall Black Sisters

Hi, I would like to share my experience with south hall black sister's it was extremely superb they assigned a case worker(advocate) for me (Lishan) she is outstanding I have not words for her how much she supported and cooperated in my bad condition in terms of Immigration / Non molestation order / child schooling / Coordination with police and got involved in my all problems and resolved all one by one successfully within 2/3 months I am very grateful of south hall black sister's to have a good experience marvelous employees in their organization like Lishan.Thankyou word is not enough to be honest.But still I would say thankyou so much.

Southall black sisters have saved my life in so many ways I can't even begin to explain with the correct words at this moment. On my first call I was terrified of being judged and did not know where to begin because so much has happened. However speaking to them from the first few minutes I felt cared for and understood which gave me hope in humanity again. Their comforting voice gave me the strength I need to carry on speaking.This Eid was incredibly happy and peaceful i spent it in my room, I felt great because I wasn't scared or anticipating my next attack. All because of the remarkable work theses wonderful woman do...I am healing a little bit more each day, I beginning to believe there is light at end of the tunnel.I will forever be grateful.

This organisation supports the abuse of young girls by toxic mothers.The irony is lost on them, they are suppose to be a feminist organisation support females but they knowingly allow young females with no voice to be abused at their hands of their mothers.Poor kids who have lost out on the love of both parents because of this unit.

Very incompetent people. They have no compassion for anyone. They take up your case and do not give you any updates. I have been chasing my advocate Shamma since last year and she has not answered any of my emails. I even tried to contact Shakila but she is a waste of time as well. I got all my evidences on my emails about messages I have sent. I know I have sent this messsge on a fake ID but if shamma and Shakila use their brain, they will know who I am. I hope the owner will not say it is a factually lie as if she wants I can give her proofs. DS

Let me be clear on it. Southhall black sisters A Big Name with little meaning to it!!! My GP has referred me to Southall black sisters. Very very disappointing !!! I have asked for help many time. I fled domestic abuse which cause me to have Cptsd and depression included anxiety , I was turned down saying that my refuge was supposed to provide help even though i told them I could not they pretend not to hear me and kept saying :well it is weird your refuge should have counsellor!!!! " waoaww amazing isn't?! when not all refuge provide that service. I had been told someone will call back it never happened. I called again they said someone will call back it never happened. So here is the thing there a many counselling service out there that are willing to help others by the kindness of their heart other do it for self gratification or to prove to others they help others basically narcissistic reasons which has nothing to do with wanting to help. Southhall black Sisters do not represent none of what they preach.neither integrity

Twenty-six business days, four phone calls, and three conversations with a human being after contacting this organization for an urgent, but simple signposting request, a request to an organisation of the type to which SBS signposts on a routine basis, and my enquiry remains unanswered. This has been my experience reaching out to SBS, every now and then, since 2017. I did give SBS two stars instead of one, as they were once responsive to me in 2020. However, considering SBS is partially funded with taxpayer revenue, being helpful and responsive only once in the seven years in which I've periodically reached out to SBS is unacceptable.

I've called them in September, the lady that answered sounded like she could not be bother at all with her job, and that proved right when after asking me the reason for calling, she abruptly cut me off, told me to explain myself to someone else, and just hanged up.I have then sent them an email to which no one replied, called them again and I was told that someone would be calling me back soon. Well....no one has called me back!The only help you could provide would be to close and free up the space for something more useful!

They’re non compassionate and unprofessional people. This is the first thing anyone who calls them would expect from them. I called them so many times and got this prerecorded msg to leave my number and they will call me back that they never did of course. So today luckily my call went through and the one attended my call was very rude and non compassionate. Like a robot she kept on her automated responses instead of listening to me and told me they will call back in 2 days that they obviously didn’t before.

Disgusting attitude !! They only help indian Punjabis. I would rather suggest you to find another NGO. This organization should shut down permanently. Its like they come there to have fun and kill the time. For them it is a Cafe where they can chill out with their colleagues etc. They do actually nothing. When i say nothing i mean actually nothing.
