Steve Collins Surfacing

I paid Steve Collins £8000 to remove the top surface of my old driveway, bring in new and roll flat and then add a good layer of gravel chipping to the surface. The workman only remove the first part of the driveway old surface leaving the last 40m or so and just raked out new gravel on the top. £8k job - 3 days work - one year later we have potholes in the drive again. The last company who did this did the same job and it lasted 15 years. Poor workmanship, poor service and did not deliver what they said they would according to their quote. Avoid and find a reputable company.

They didn't attend appointment. When I spoke with them they denied that they made it at all.On landline phone I spoke twice with incredibly rude lady, which talking over you and doesn't want to give you chance to explain.Unreliable people!I will never recommend !!!

So pleased with our block paving, absolutely stunning. The lads were all very polite and efficient. Arrived on time every day and tidied up after themselves.We used them 18 years ago with our last propert and was just as impressed now as we were then! Well done.

Avoid!! done tarmac the first time, installed incorrectly which led to severe problems. They came back removed the tarmac and the original concrete which should of been done in the first place. The ground works were great until new concrete put down, there is dips, bumps and holes in it. Very disappointing and upsetting

Wonderful! My husband and I had Steve Collins and his crew to do our driveway in Corfe Mullen in August to remove the old driveway and concrete with tree stumps, add a new base level, brickwork edging and tarmac. I thought they were absolutely fantastic and would completely recommend using Steve Collins! They were incredibly hardworking from Andy who did our quote, Rachael who booked us in, Ryan and his team who did prep and Steve and his team who laid the tarmac. Our driveway looks SO much better. This company did a superb job of tarmacking the drive so we got them back to do the patio, which now also looks fantastic. They are a well run company with plenty of time to discuss what you want and with very reasonable rates for a very professional job.The staff are efficient, turn up on time, are always polite, helpful and happy to discuss and advise on any changes you want to make during construction, and great at clearing up. Lee and Sean were always patient with us oldies changing our minds and a credit to the Company.

Mike Collins was visiting our neighbours to do their driveway and dropped kerb when I flagged him down to ask him to look at our job for an estimate. I was immediately impressed with his advice, professionalism and depth of knowledge.By 6pm I had a quote and due to an opening in their diary, work began the next day!Within less than one week we had a completely new driveway, dropped kerb and some fencing work done. In fact, it would have been done in 2 days, had the builders' mercheant had enough materials.As well as being happy with the work done, we were impressed by Mike's customer service, his follow and all round customer service. Will certainly contact him again to quote the next job.
