I think I am getting more and more old-fashioned. My idea of customer service is that when someone promises to ring you back, then they ring you back! Unfortunately H and H do not necessarily ring back the next (working) day as promised. However, when finally I managed to arrange for someone to inspect the car I was thinking of selling I was impressed by his approach, his knowledge and his advice.

I recently asked H&H to sell my Lotus, Andreas Hicks took the time and trouble to travel a great distance to appraise my car, photograph it and write a full and accurate description for the catalogue. He kept in touch throughout the process, took care of it when it arrived at the venue and contacted me after the sale to make sure I was happy with how things went.I am 100% totally delighted with how my sale was handled and cannot recommend both Andreas and the Company highly enough, they are a high quality and extremely professional business.

Unprofessional and incompetent is the only way I can describe H and H Classics. They contacted me through a classified add to sell my Classic car through their auctions. My car was sold to a collector who lived abroad, along with 17 other vehicles. H & H were so excited to take bids from an overseas collector, they forgot to get him to sign the purchase contract forms. This collector won over £500,000 worth of cars and despite his promises to pay, he never did. My contract is with the purchaser so I can pursue him, unfortunately, I do not have a case as H & H didn’t get the contract signed and I have no recourse. The car sold in a subsequent sale but for much less than the original sale and I’ll be seeking redress.

First time I've sold a bike by auction. Excellent service by H&H throughout.Good advice and support and great organisation on the day, I got the prices I was looking for. Mike Davis was particularly helpful, responding to emails and phone calls immediately and adding details to the descriptions on the website up to the last moment. I would certainly recommend.

Paul is absolutely not someone I'd have deal with anything of value, almost Lovejoy like in his approach and shoes to match ...please font bother ...rude obnoxious doesn't quite fit but just about does ...go anywhere but him .

If I could award Zero, I would!My first-hand experience of HandH.Do not trust these people at all. HandH present themselves as a professional Auction House with glossy brochures, videos and eye-catching venues...do not be fooled and duped into dealing with them in any capacity. They are not trustworthy. They are not professional. They are not honourable.................................................................................................PART 2Then, see HandH response below, this really sums them up!!They list a vehicle with an exaggerated description which turns out to be substantive misrepresentation...the vehicle managed 10 miles before collapse!! They sell a car as a running vehicle which HandH claimed had been maintained and checked just before auction!! They then say 'oh just put it back into our auction someone else will buy it'!! ... How on earth would I do that, knowing what I know. Therein is the moral delta between HandH and myself. Legal action is now underway.………………………………………………………….PART 3preparation underway
