Great, well run venue, fantastic music.The only minus is that recently, the bar has not been well stocked.For example, today, they had no ales/heavy and no red wine.They used to be well stocked with ales from the brewery across the road. But recent visits they have been sadly missing. Shame

Backstage at The Green
Second visit to this venue. Both times to see top quality tribute bands who did not disappoint! Both excellent! It's an intimate venue where the bands can easily interact with the audience. Both seated and standing areas are available. The memorabilia on display throughout is awesome! The staff are very pleasant. An excellent night out! Looking forward to the next time.

I have attended many gigs at Backstage ....Focus......Hardwicke Circus......The Watch.....Terry Reid...to name a few....Every one I have attended has been very good and the venue is very good for sound and an intimate setting that feels that the performers are playing iin your own living room....get along to a gig soon.....you won't be disappointed.

Brilliant place, so much memorabilia everywhere and super efficient and helpful, friendly staff. Great sound setup for bands. Absolutely recommend.

Best place I have ever been for a gig, superb collection of memorabilia on the walls, intimate surroundings and good prices for drinks. Went to see MAN who I have followed for over 50 years, great!

Good selection. Excellent service. Big portions of well cooked and presented food. Very reasonable price.
