I've had many alterations and repairs over the years, Hussain is always kind and courteous. He is incredible in what he does. My daughter in-law had many alterations to her wedding dress, and did a fantastic job. His work is just perfect, i travel from Paignton to have him do all my alterations.. Always Perfect and well priced. I would strongly recommend. ☆☆☆☆☆

I have had two jobs done here - a trouser-shortening and a virtually invisible repair to a puffa jacket with delicate fabric. Both done superbly well, and I will be back for more in the future.

Did a great job on replacing the main zip on my bike jacket which hopefully will now last a few years more. Highly recommended.

Very efficient service and Hussain is very pleasant to deal with. The 2 of the garments he altered for me were brand new jackets and needed the sleeves shortening which had some finishing detail on the cuffs.They came back perfectly done in every detail.I will have no hesitation in using Sticthes in the future.

Super Impressed! - Sleeves on my fav motorcycle jacket were just a tad too long, I lived with it for a while and didn't know there was anything I could do about it until a friend recommended Stitches in Newton Abbot. - I went in with my jacket and they accepted it the same day. They guy even measured the sleeves and pinned the leather to the exact fit I was after, he was very polite and left me in no-doubt he knew what he was doing. A week later I got a text message to say my jacket was ready. WOW, you would think the stitching was done at the factory, it matches the stitching on my jacket PERFECTLY and the sleeves fit a treat. I am over the moon that my fav motorcycle jacket now fits me perfectly. Honestly the workmanship is top-notch, they even pulled in the sleeves so they wouldn't flap about. If there was a 6 Star rating, Stitches would get it..!

Great guy and extremely good work on an expensive outdoor jacket that I didn’t think was repairable! Suit and trousers have been tailored very well too. Great service.

I took in a pair of nappe leather motorcycle jeans that needed a drastic waist reduction. Not only were they reduced perfectly but it looked as though they were originally made that way. Very pleased.

An unbelievably arrogant and rude man runs this place. I’ve been here twice, the first time he said he wouldn’t repair my clothes, in the rudest possible way, like I was dirt for even asking.I’ve just been again to have a zip repaired and I’m wondering now why I gave him another chance. He had a sign on the door saying ‘back in ten minutes’ but was inside chatting on the phone. I came back an hour and a half later and the sign was still there and he was still on the phone so I knocked. He tried to shoo me away and eventually came to the door. I tried to find out if he would be opening and explained I’d already been an hour and a half before and he just said ‘that’s your fault and your problem.’ Unbelievable that he is still in business. Such arrogance. What a horrible man

**perfect**What amazing service I’m so happy! After losing weight my wedding dress was to big!I Took it Down to Hussian he was amazing from the start! Made me so comfortable and confident he was going to do a great job on the most important dress I had owned! He Took his time to make sure I was 100% happy before I left no rushing at all! Left it with him and received a txt on the day 2 weeks later to let me know it was ready!I Went to collect and WOW you couldn’t even tell it had been altered or changed and it fitted perfectly again checked I was 100% happy before I left but it was perfect! Such a lovely friendly man to deal with along with the rest of the team in the shop! Nothing is to much! Would recommend everytime for any work needed!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
