Lakeside Garden Centre

Lovely visit. Had a lovely walk around, lots of variety, great prices. Really liked the little stroll around the pond. Lovely ducks, a nonchalant house and dinner really huge, healthy koi. Stopped for a coffee and cake and it was very clean, speedy service, delicious food. Everything is well spaced out and feels very safe and airy.

Nice garden centre. Had a drink in the cafe which was lovely, and then after looking around, we saw that you could feed the ducks for 30p, so we did that at the lake which was a lot of fun

Absolutely fantastic place to go and visit. Friendly staff. Massive free car park. Lively cafe with teas, coffee and cakes.

I regularly visit the cafe here, with friends or alone. The cafe has an organised, efficient system of table allocation which works very well, especially at busy times, and also has the friendliest, politest and most hardworking staff I have ever come across in such an environment. The cafe is very clean throughout with a good choice of reasonably priced light meals/snacks and drinks. On a warm sunny day it is lovely to be able to sit outside overlooking the lake and forest. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the outside seating area.The garden centre is delightful and has very helpful, polite staff, one of who went out of his way to help me. It is well stocked with a year round array of colourful plants, and garden and household items. There is also a range of interesting and unusual seasonal goods, especially at Christmas.Huge car park too!

For our particular journeys provides a handy break for a coffee and cake, always good quality with excellent service. Love the ambience with the lake and grounds. The plants and garden centre are an added bonus wide range of plants and good quality.

Always enjoy a little while spent here. Excellent cafe with enjoyable food. At peak times there can be a long slow moving queue. On the occasions, we have visited the staff, and attention to detail has been good. Garden centre staff have been helpful and pleasant always and if they don't know, will find out. Little walk round the lake available if you choose and wandering ducks and geese to watch. Huge car park available. Clean toilets also. Lovely greetings cards and a varied selection of them plus gifts.

Fabulous peaceful place with tables overlooking the lake-a piece of tranquility in a busy world-Hubby and I visit often for lunch and a lovely stroll round the lake-the staff in the cafe are so polite and the food is to die for-especially the coronation chicken sandwiches-my favourite local place to relax-thoroughly recommend

We go here as it has lakes. With ducks and geese and very large fish! My grandsons love it. You can buy food for the ducks and geese inside the garden centre. The fish are partial to it as well!The plants are plentiful, and we usually have lunch or a bit of cake and a cuppa . The restaurant is very busy at lunchtime, so be prepared to queue !
