Mark is a great designer for people who know very little about gardens and have no real idea about what they want. He discussed a number of ideas with us which were a great help to us in making decisions about the design. He then produced a fantastic garden that looks amazing after just two years. Many, many people have commented on the simplicity and beauty of the garden. Both my husband and myself highly recommend Mark to anyone who wants a fantastic garden, large or small.

In 2016 a friend recommended Mark to upgrade my coastal garden at West Wittering first established by my mother in 1954. The tamarisk hedge on a seafront bank dates back 600 years to the Bishops of Chichester. From an initial scheme of new terrace, planters, upgraded lawn, firebowl, Indian sandstone benches and beds incorporating boulders, attention moved to the potager. The old concrete path was replaced with a beautiful brick paver design. Most recently a new trellis and two cedar berry cages have been built replacing several old apple trees. The new installation is proving attractive and effective in reducing the damage that was caused to the potager plants by strong westerly winds. A small secret garden has also been created. I am pleased how the whole team has worked so hard to achieve a very complete and robust garden which has to cope with our tough weather conditions.
