I recently did a brilliant copper foiling workshop with Kate. I really enjoyed it, and appreciated the attention to detail in the running in the workshop e.g. teas, coffees and homemade sweet treats being included, examples of what we could make being displayed.It was a really good day and fun to make our light catchers.My only suggestion would be to stop everyone to gather round and demonstrate the next stage of the creation all in one go. When time was running out towards the end of the day, I wished I'd had the same level of explanation that earlier people had had e.g. for soldering.If you do this workshop, I highly recommend coming up with some design ideas in advance!

My daughter Amanda & I felt lucky to join Kate on her 1st workshop after lockdown rules were eased.Kate is a patient & informative teacher. She guided us through the process of design, choosing & cutting glass from her vast collection of coloured glass. We then leaded & soldered our creations - with one of us mastering the soldering better than the other!!Thank you Kate, we are so pleased to have spent last Saturday with you in your workshop at the bottom of your beautiful & secluded garden and we are both so happy with what we made.

Just enjoyed a brilliant day on Kate's leaded stained glass workshop. I had already done one workshop with Kate and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to try something a little more ambitious. On a blustery day we were in our own little bubble in Kate's cosy workshop. We were able to work at our own pace with Kate's expert tuition and advice on hand at every step of the process. We all came away with a piece of stained glass that we were proud to show to friends and family and to treasure in our homes. Kate's lovely home baking kept up our energy levels for the day and her friendly dogs kept us entertained. This session would make a lovely gift for family and friends or to treat yourself - which is what I did!

Kate has made a stunning stain window for us.From the design stage to finished window Kate was very helpful and had amazing ideas.We are delighted with the window which is now a wonderful feature in our home.

Kate’s work is individual, artist and beautiful. I love seeing what new work she created! Kate is also an excellent teacher during her workshops. Would highly recommend doing one of her workshops or buying one of her wonderful pieces. You won’t be disappointed!

This was the first time I had a done stained glass workshop. It was brilliant and I would fully recommend anyone to do it. It was great fun, looking forward to doing another workshop in 2025. Thank you Sara

I had a very enjoyable day making the leaded stained glass, it was well organised in a great working space. All the materials were provided, I did not have a plan of what to make and Kate showed some examples of her work which inspired me. We all worked at our own pace and the teacher was very attentive to our needs. Excellent day out and a nice piece at the end of it. Great stuff

Throughly recommend the stained glass course with Kate, knew nothing but now feel confident enough to try out my new stained glass skills. Had a really enjoyable day and Kate is a fun, kind and clever tutor explaining the processes very well. Brilliant day out even if you are not sure this craft is for you and would be a great idea for a group of friends and you finish the day with a piece of glass work to show off

Spent a fabulous day learning the art of stained glass at Kates lovely workshop. She is an excellent teacher with just the right balance of tuition and guidance whilst allowing individual creativity. Kate is patient, warm and friendly and makes the best flapjack ! I loved my day there and left with my own stained glass creation I’m really pleased with. Thank you Kate, I will definitely return.
