Tom Kennedy Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine Bristol

I suffered with severe acid reflux for months, even drinking water caused pain at times. I tried everything I could to stop it but nothing worked, doctors would prescribed medicine that I knew was harmful and un-natural so choose to avoid it. I then decided to contact Tom.Right from our initial conversation I felt comfortable talking to Tom and it was clear he had a lot of knowledge on Chinese medicine and the way it interacts with the human body. After a great conversation about my needs he put together a formula that arrived a few days later. Within 3 days my acid reflux had gone! I continued the medicine (with Toms support) for 4 weeks it has now been over a month without the medicine and there are no signs of the reflux returning.I would highly recommend Tom (and have to many friends and family) as I believe what he does is amazing and in my case, life changing!

When I first visited Tom I had a collection of different long covid symptoms, the main ones being fatigue and insomnia. Tom was very understanding of my symptoms and always gave me the time to speak in detail. Overall, I had 6 acupuncture sessions and a two week course of herbal tea that he formulated for me specific to my symptoms. I couldn't believe the results - I can now say that 6 months since first seeing Tom, I have now fully recovered from something that I thought would take years to get over.

Tom has been great.He has provided me with really effective treatment for my running injuries (both chronic and acute) - acupuncture from Tom is the most effective recovery and rehabilitation therapy I've ever received. Tom also has a wealth of knowledge about acupuncture, how (we think) it works and different methods of treating people. Despite not enjoying needles I genuinely look forward to my treatments.Tom has also discussed and explored other therapies that he thinks would help me achieve my goals.I will continue to see Tom even when (I hopefully) have recovered from my injuries as a means of controlling tight and stressed muscles.

Tom is great, I've been seeing him in spurts of 2 or 3 sessions since April 2015. He is very gentle, very calm and gives you space to just be as you need to be. I like his attitude towards the patient - working together to feel into what works rather than just applying a uniform treatment. I have found so much emotional and physical release from the sessions with him, and he is incredibly kind and intuitive. Much recommended, especially if you are new to acupuncture.

I had chronic pain for 6 years and I tried literally EVERYTHING. Since the first appointment I noticed a lot of improvement (the worse point is not even hurting anymore) and even my mood is better. I bet it's helping with anxiety/depression issues too. Tom is not just a good professional, but he is also a nice human. I highly recommend him!

I have treated a neck/back pain with Tom for the last 5 months. What initially was an unbearable pain now is almost completely gone. Tom is very welcoming, has a positive attitude and is an excellent listener. Every session at his practice is tailored accordingly to the patient's needs. After months and months of intense/throbbing temporal headaches, I decided to give Tom a call and see if he could help me. I have had 2 acupuncture sessions and started taking Chinese herbal medicine daily for the last 4 weeks, and I am very happy to say that I have not had 1 headache since!I wasn't too sure how quickly I would see results, but I have to say I am quite impressed and happy with Tom's professionalism. He listened to all my weird and wonderful symptoms in the first session and has since been altering my herbal medicine formula in response to my reaction/improvements.I would highly recommend Tom if you have consistent symptoms for which doctors aren't able to help and mainstream medication isn't working out for you. In my situation I have felt relieved instantly after the first session and it was a massive weight off my shoulders! The treatment has also helped me with symptoms of frequent anxiety/panic attacks, and has really given me a more stable/relaxed mood in the last month.
