Brilliant night out, the food and drinks were great and the service was excellent. Hopefully we'll be back in the near future.

Had a reservation at 7:30. Arrived slightly early and was sat by the front window in a quieter area which was nice. Food tasty but expect small portions, we had 3 courses despite this my partner was still hungry upon leaving. Lots of staff on but service was extremely slow, waited 40 odd minutes for mains. My biggest disappointment was that they add a “OPTIONAL” 10% service charge. I personally do not like when restaurants automatically add this to your bill - if I wanted to leave a tip I would. So upon receiving bill I asked for this “OPTIONAL” charge to be removed however was met with utter hostility from the server. Asking why I wanted to remove it, explained i do not like it automatically being added. She made us extremely uncomfortable and spoilt what was a nice evening, won’t be returning. Need to train staff on how to treat customers. To add this lady must have been either a supervisor or manager as she wasn’t in server attire. I was utterly applaud how she spoke to us and made us feel.

Came for a family meal as a 5 and booked one of the earliest evening spots on Friday 19th. Really looking forward to it as I had never been and the family recommended. Safe to say we won’t be back it was a shambles from the moment we walked in. The staff member who was at the door didn’t know how to seat us or where we’d been placed & it’s took a while to find someone to actually seat us. Our server was a young girl and she was lovely can’t fault her at all.We ordered our food and we were waiting about 35-40 minutes for our starters we were starving by the time they arrived we were told 5 minutes about the 25 minute mark. The pate was tasty and the sharing platter was okay nothing too special. At this point the restaurant was too full and barely any staff. They take our starter plates & we then wait nearly an hour for our mains when they arrived it was all just very underwhelming sloppy presentation and mediocre in flavour. We ate it because we were starving but we left a fair amount. Then desserts some of us had the set menu so we decided why not as we were still quite hungry. I ordered a pavlova and as you can see it was an absolute state and almost inedible. My partner ordered a crepe that looked even worse than mine. The picture is exactly how it was served visibly been left under the lights and having managed a well known dessert restaurant I know my crepes it had been left under the light too long and was on a crepe plate that was too hot as it was crispy and had a lot of elasticity. We ordered a chocolate mousse and were given 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream instead we explained we’d ordered something different and we were then told they had sold out of the mousse. At this point we had had enough we were told it would be taken off the bill as it wasn’t what we had ordered it was still on the bill when it arrived. We asked to take off the service which I never do because staff work hard and front of house especially. We heard several customers getting very irate about their wait times some were over an hour. This overall was poorly managed, poorly prepared and shockingly troubleshooted during service. Will not be returning.

As first time visitors to Cirencester we fell lucky finding Cote. The front of house team were excellent, friendly and attentive without being over bearing and all very personable. The food was exceptional, my partner started with the prawns and I went with the steak tartar, we immediately knew after the first bite we had found a great restaurant! Mains, we had the beef cheek which was amazing and I had the monkfish which was easily best seafood dish I’ve had period! When it came to the sweet menu, I couldn’t choose so had two! Why not? After all is was a Friday! The final bill made the whole experience that little bit better and made for superb value for money.I love finding great eateries! If I was to be overly critical, the only flaw and complaint I could levy at Cote is that unfortunately we live 160 miles away!Highly recommended.P.S definitely go for the monkfish it’s seriously next level.

Food was amazing and everyone who served us was very polite and more than helpful. Service was a touch slow but I appreciate it was Mother's Day and it was busy. The restaurant is bigger than you realise from the outside. Really enjoyed our experience here, would definitely go again and would 100% recommend!

Food is delicious, well priced. Cocktails tasty. Lovely atmosphere and conservatory area. We also tried cote at home and the food was equally great and even better value! Would definitely recommend for both a date night out as well as in!

We had a lovely experience at Cote in Cirencester. The food was amazing, and it arrived promptly. The service was top-notch, and I must give a special shout-out to Egor – he provided outstanding service throughout our visit. The combination of delicious food and excellent service made our time at Cote truly memorable. I highly recommend this place, especially with staff like Egor who go above and beyond to make the dining experience wonderful. Thank you!

Excellent food, service and general friendliness. We first visited a few weeks back when in Cirencester and another (seemingly empty tapas bar) nearby said they couldn't accommodate us both. We had dinner that night and came back the following. Both times everyone and everything was excellent. We decided to visit for my birthday and the place was very busy but the usual standards were there albeit service was a little slow.A busy, bustling restaurant is a good sign and I personally would recommend it and it will be a place we frequent.
