Bristol South Taekwondo - Hengrove

My son has trained in Mr Martin's clubs for years. The classes are great, he's just turned 12 and has kept going without hesitation twice a week, happily, for years, which says it all. The lessons are well structured, the teachers (led by Mr Martin) are thoughtful and committed. Communication, challenge, friendly, fun - highly recommended.

Since join Russ Martin TKD Bristol, my daughter' confidence is growing. Teachers maintain each lesson not just focus on physical activities but also fun. At first, we were unsure to join then after did the free trial lessons, she's so excited to go for this lesson until today (green tag belt).

Bristol South Taekwondo, at the Hengrove Leisure Centre is taught in a fun, friendly, and professional manner. The club members are friendly and supportive of each others goals. The opportunity to advance through gradings helps students to grow in confidence, you can see them change! There are opportunities to enter competitions, both at National and Local level, and our students bring home many medals and points for the club. I highly recommend this club for anybody wanting to lose a bit of weight, get fit and learn very effective self defence skills along the way. This must be the best way to meet like minded people and make new friends.

Would recommend this training for all young people (and adults) who want to combine keep fit - self defence & fun. Excellant for children especially from 5 upwards. Instruction is first class . Whole family are delighted with what my granddaughters have achieved in short period of time. Many thanks to the whole team.

Mr and Mrs Martin have been totally supportive. It's always a welcoming atmosphere, and our teenagers from the first week they went knew they wanted to keep going, they were so excited, and still are. They always see the potential. The confidence levels of my kids have grown immensely since starting taekwondo.

This is a great Taekwondo club. My children have only been going for a couple of months but really enjoy going to two sessions a week. Everyone is very welcoming and both children were quickly put at ease. Mr and Mrs Martin who run the groups are very friendly and approachable. They are very experienced, professional and their teaching is excellent. Sessions are varied and focus on fitness, techniques, patterns, self defence and sparring for both the children's and adult classes.Highly recommend Taekwondo at Hengrove Leisure Centre!

Fab club. Fun, supportive and welcoming trainers. Kids have made great friendships and grown in confidence.
