Alas now closed as a museum but they do have special open days throughout the year and if you get the chance it's a great place to visit and see the site while you still can.

Fantastic tour of the site by the wonderful volunteers who have a great deal of knowledge to share and bring everything to life with enthusiasm.Important heritage to keep alive for Stoke on Trent. Membership is £5 for a year and will contribute to the fabulous work they do.

Came here today, staff can’t do enough for you Reanne in particular was amazing, she made a real effort to make sure everything was spot on for us. Great food aswell, the buy one get one free burgers are great value & plenty of offers on drinks aswell. Will definitely be back

An entire colliery near Chell in Staffordshire, fenced off and gradually deteriorating as trees grow up around it. This is a great place for photography, but more importantly, it is a piece of industrial heritage that needs to be preserved before it is too late.

The guys are really friendly and knowledgeable sharing there own experiences with you. The site is fascinating and fully of history not only about the site but mining In itself. This site is a real gem and it is important to ensure that it is preserved for future generations to learn about the important mining industry. I would highly recommend a visit to appreciate the staff and the site.
